Sailor Moon Gets Cuter Than Ever!

For quite some time now, following its initial publication, the franchise continues to thrive, introducing fresh merchandise and collectibles that delight fans. Among the newest additions, there’s an adorable take on Sailor Moon herself and a mysterious, darker portrayal of her future offspring, appealing to both old and new enthusiasts alike.

I’m taking a glance at the latest offerings from Tamashii Nations’ Figuarts Mini line – it’s none other than new Sailor Moon figurines! It’s been two years since we last saw items from this series, but these fresh additions are based on a unique interpretation of Sailor Moon and her companion. If you’re ready to pre-order, these charming super-deformed figures embody the essence of “Chibiusa” like never before!

Tamashii Nations Recreates Sailor Moon R With Two New Mini Figures

I recently had a close look at the latest additions to Tamashii Nations’ Figuarts Mini line, which are inspired by the Super Deformed style of their main collectibles. These new figures hail from the “Sailor Moon R” season, the second installment of the beloved ’90s anime series. The Sailor Moon figure has been given a fresh coat of colors and an improved expression compared to previous versions. She’s depicted holding the Crystal Star Compact and Cutie Moon Rod with a cheerful smile, and her eyes, as big as moons themselves, bring warmth to her face. With an included stand for posing, she’ll make a perfect addition to any fan’s collection. And it’s not just Sailor Moon who’s gracing the latest wave of releases – even her dark-haired daughter has her own figurine in this series!

In simpler terms, this description introduces “Black Lady,” an alternate portrayal of the Queen of Darkness who resembles Chibi-Usa, the daughter of Sailor Moon/Princess Serenity. She’s shown smirking and holding a Black Moon Luna P Ball. Both she and her mother come with exchangeable hands to hold their respective accessories. These figurines are made from PVC and ABS materials, stand 90mm tall (approximately 3.5 inches), and can be pre-ordered via the Tamashii Web online store. After tax, Black Lady costs around 3,850 yen (roughly $27 USD) and Sailor Moon is priced at 3,520 yen ($25 USD). These reasonably priced collectibles allow fans to re-experience moments from the “Sailor Moon R” series right in their hands. The figurines are set for release in Japan during October, but an international release date remains unknown.
