Fans in Japan will soon be able to enjoy new Sailor Moon treats made by Meiji! This is the third time the popular anime and manga series has partnered with the company, and the goodies will hit stores on January 20, 2026. The special edition boxes of Almond Chocolate and Macadamia Chocolate will each feature different Sailor Moon characters.

The Almond Chocolate boxes feature artwork of either Super Sailor Moon and Super Sailor Chibi Moon, or Super Sailor Mars and Super Sailor Venus. The Macadamia Chocolate boxes, on the other hand, showcase Super Sailor Mercury with Super Sailor Jupiter, Super Sailor Uranus with Super Sailor Neptune, and Super Sailor Saturn with Super Sailor Pluto. This new artwork has been revealed on Sailor Moon’s official social media channels before the chocolates are available in stores.

The Milk Chocolate Big Pack packaging features adorable, simplified versions of the Sailor Moon characters – both as individuals and as a group. These designs aren’t new; they’re based on artwork originally created for the manga and the Sailor Moon Channel. Keep an eye out for a special, unrevealed design on one of the packs!

These special collaborative sweets will be available in Japanese convenience stores starting January 20, 2026, though the exact price is still to be announced. The release seems to be a continuation of the brand’s 30th-anniversary celebration, even though the anniversary has already passed. There’s a possibility that fans outside of Japan will also be able to purchase them.
