According to the leaked trailer, Sadie Sink’s character tells Spider-Man, “You’re a mess. Stay out of my way, or people will forget Peter Parker—not just your friends.”
A line delivered by Emma Roberts’ character hints that she knows Peter Parker’s secret identity, even after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. This has led fans to believe her character might be Shathra, an ancient wasp goddess from Earth-001’s Loomworld.
In November 2025, Sadie Sink remained tight-lipped about her role in an upcoming movie. At the premiere of Stranger Things Season 5, she playfully told Entertainment Tonight she’d been caught off guard, thinking it was just the Stranger Things event and hadn’t prepared any remarks. When asked for a single word to describe her character in a Spider-Man film, Sink simply responded, “No.”
Joining Sink and Holland in Spider-Man: Brand New Day are Zendaya, Jon Bernthal, Mark Ruffalo, Tramell Tillman, Jacob Batalon, Marvin Jones III, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Michael Mando. The movie is scheduled for release in theaters on July 31, 2026.
