Sacha Baron Cohen, 53, reveals jaw-dropping body transformation as he takes on the role of Marvel’s ripped supervillain Mephisto
Here’s a different take on the sentence: Known primarily for his hilarious characters Ali G and Borat, you’ll be surprised to see Sacha Baron Cohen in an entirely new light.
The 53-year-old actor has experienced an extraordinary change, taking on the part of the villain Mephisto within the Marvel universe for his newest character portrayal.
In the latest edition of Men’s Fitness UK, Sascha displayed a remarkable change, appearing almost unrecognizable compared to his previous persona, showcasing his impressive physique.
In a span of mere three weeks, Sascha has dedicated himself diligently to ensure he’s in top-notch form, all geared up to embody the muscular figure of Mephisto.
On the cover of the fitness magazine, Sacha was breathtakingly impressive, displaying his well-defined abs and muscular arms without a shirt.
In conversation with a publication, the actor disclosed that he reached out to Matthew McConaughey in order to obtain Alfonso Moretti’s contact information. Known for his ability to sculpt bodies under tight time constraints, Moretti is a celebrated fitness expert.

In a joking manner, he said: “I rang Matthew for assistance. Once I identified myself and explained how I got his number, he eventually provided me with Alfonso’s details.
Sacha later had a video call with Alfonso where they discussed things that led Alfonso to ask Sacha to remove his outer clothes, starting their conversation in just his underwear.
Given the tight deadline and Alfonso’s exercise routine, Sacha was asked to maintain regularity by performing 100 push-ups daily.
Instead of lengthy exercising routines and stringent dieting, Sacha focused more on brief workout sessions and a nutritional plan rich in fiber, protein, and low in sugar content.
He mentioned that he was doing 25-minute workout routines which were maintainable, and these workouts took place even during filming. Previously, he might have assumed that longer, hour-long sessions were necessary.
Despite the busy nature of working on set, the brief intervals helped me maintain consistency more easily.
In just two weeks, Sacha’s costume designers found themselves needing to invest around $5,000 (roughly £3,600) on adjustments due to the remarkable transformation in his physique. He had never been leaner, stronger, or more fit.
Alfonso, his personal coach, enthused: “He’s completely dedicated. Even if he’s shooting for 15 hours, starting as early as 6 am and wrapping up at nine in the evening, he’d still text me asking if we could squeeze in a workout!

Sharing a fresh look on his Instagram Story, the comedian humorously commented: “I’m not AI, but I’m vain enough to actually do this.
‘Some celebs use Ozempic, some use private chefs, others use personal trainers. I did all three.’
He additionally mentioned that he is “aggressively starting my midlife transition” and “introducing a fresh persona: the middle-aged fellow who swapped beer for protein drinks.
Additionally, his coach posted the magazine’s pictures on Instagram, expressing that they were unable to feel any greater pride than they do now following their workout sessions with Sascha.
Sacha put faith in my approach and adhered strictly to the strategy. Not only did he achieve superior health, fitness, and stunning physique…but also… The Front Cover of Men’s Fitness!!’ Moretti penned down. ‘From Borat to Bodybuilder! Look forward to the full story this coming Friday! For now, feast your eyes on the photos. I can assure you he looks nothing short of amazing!’
At a thrilling press gathering not too long ago, I, a humbly devoted admirer, was electrified to hear the Marvel mastermind, Kevin Feige, announce that Sacha would bring his magic touch to life as an iconic Marvel Cinematic Universe character!
In the 1990s, Sacha gained popularity through his Ali G persona, a humorous portrayal of an aspiring yet fake gangster, who eventually earned fame as a comedian.
Additionally, he took on the characters of Borat, a journalist hailing from Kazakhstan, and the extravagant Austrian fashion designer, Bruno.
The new issue of Men’s Fitness, out this Friday.
