Sabrina Carpenter faced harsh criticism following her effort to display her French skills on her recent social media update, which unfortunately did not go as planned.

This week, Sabrina, aged 25, posted some pictures on Instagram from her latest visit to Paris. In these photos, she can be seen enjoying herself at various social events with an unidentified individual.

She was likely trying to say ‘I’m short and sweet,’ which is the name of her album and tour.

Consequently, individuals on X and Instagram discovered that her statement translated to ‘I’m sweet but small’, which sparked widespread amusement online as a result of this misunderstanding.

After a video surfaced showing Sabrina being pursued by paparazzi while exiting a Parisian eatery, with a scarf covering her face, fans became upset. This incident was followed by an error from Sabrina.

On her approach to her parked car, a few photographers could be overheard requesting, “Sabrina, take just one photo for us,” and, “We understand you’re kind, Sabrina, so can we have just one shot?

But when Sabrina climbed into the vehicle without responding to them, they switched their approach and could be overheard repeatedly saying, “Disappointing, Sabrina!” and one even called her “preposterous.

In her most recent Instagram update, Sabrina subtly alluded to an event by sharing a picture of her pal Paloma Sandoval shielding her purple sequined bag, apparently aimed at preventing the media from capturing images.
