Sabrina Carpenter the new Queen of Christmas? Fans rave over singer’s ‘iconic’ new Netflix holiday special
As a longtime fan of Sabrina Carpenter, I must say that her latest venture into producing and starring in A Nonsense Christmas has me absolutely thrilled! Having followed her career since her Disney days, it’s fascinating to see how she continues to grow as an artist and push boundaries.
Enthusiasts can’t stop praising Sabrina Carpenter’s Netflix Christmas special, A Nonsense Christmas, with many even hailing her as the fresh ‘Monarch of Christmas.’
On a Friday, I eagerly unveiled my long-awaited holiday spectacular on Netflix, complete with esteemed guest performers, humorous appearances from comedians, and some delightful, unforeseen duets. (The age and the title “Espresso hitmaker” were omitted for simplicity.)
The GRAMMY-nominated artist treated viewers to tunes from her 2023 holiday EP, Fruitcake, along with popular renditions of timeless Christmas favorites.
She performed strong duets including “Last Christmas” with Chappell Roan, “This Christmas” with Tyla, “Santa Baby” with Shania Twain, and “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” alongside Kali Uchis.
During interludes, the performer from Don’t Smile band participated in humorous sketches alongside other celebrities such as Quinta Brunson known for her role in Abbott Elementary, Nico Hiraga who starred in Sweethearts, and model Cara Delevingne, among others.
The carpenter added an unusual and joyful flair to the performance, as he played a character who was a girl dealing with the highs and lows of dating no one else but Santa Claus.
Her comedic timing and charm added a playful edge to the whimsical storyline.
In her unique style, the charming woman adorned numerous alluring holiday ensembles, each embodying the joy and excitement of the season with her festive flair.
Admirers promptly lauded the singer from Bed Chem and her featured artists for their outstanding show, expressing their accolades through X, previously known as Twitter. A few even implored the celebrity to make available a complete collection of holiday songs.
One user penned, ‘sabrina carpenter has to release a full christmas album like what can’t she do.’
As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but exclaim that the latest Christmas special was, without a shadow of a doubt, the finest I’ve ever witnessed, Sabrina Carpenter! Kudos to you for creating such a magical experience.

“You can only find A Nonsense Christmas on Netflix. This special title comes from an updated version of her popular song Nonsense, which was released around Christmas time last year.
In addition to the main cast, actors like Kyle Mooney, Megan Stalter, Sean Astin, Owen Thiele, and Jillian Bell are set to make guest appearances in the upcoming holiday special.
Under the recently established umbrella of At Last Productions, Sabrina joined forces with the OBB Pictures team to create the festive production titled “A Nonsense Christmas”.
The Juno songstress said in a press release, ‘The holidays have always been so special to me.
I can’t wait to add my own unique blend of music, humor, and personality to a traditional holiday variety show!
Michael D. Ratner, as the executive producer and CEO of OBB Media, commended the singer who is right now touring for her Short n’ Sweet World Tour.
He said: ‘Sabrina’s vision to subvert the classic holiday special has been clear since day one. At OBB, we partner with the world’s most captivating artists to reimagine the expected.
We’re thrilled with the collective effort of our team and would like to draw attention to key contributors: Simone Spira, the Volara team, Sam Wrench, Nikki Boella, and everyone else who helped bring Sabrina’s vision to fruition on Netflix.
In September, the ex-Disney Channel child actor and the streaming service jointly revealed their collaboration through a promotional video hinting at the upcoming special.
Right now, the stunning performer is taking a three-month pause from her tours, but she’s set to bring back her live show in early March. This time, it will be in Dublin, Ireland, marking the beginning of the European segment of the tour.
On September 24, 2024, she launched the Short n’ Sweet World Tour in Columbus, Ohio, and intends to conclude this tour with a final performance in Milan, Italy on March 26, 2025.
The singer of “The Lie” (a song she’s known for) just turned 25, and now ranks as the 11th most streamed artist globally on Spotify.
Two days following the news of Sabrina’s breakup with Barry Keoghan, a 32-year-old Oscar nominee, her new song A Nonsense Christmas was released. Sabrina had previously featured in the music video for his seductive single, Please Please Please.
Since starting her music career in 2014, this versatile artist has placed 15 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
