Sabrina Carpenter shows off her washboard abs in white hot pants while gallivanting around Italy

Sabrina Carpenter shared with her 48.1 million Instagram followers a peek into what she’s doing during her break from the Short n’ Sweet Tour.

Even with a hectic itinerary that encompassed a European tour segment and another round of concerts in North America, the 26-year-old pop star found room in her busy schedule for a fun getaway with her dearest friends in Italy.

On a Wednesday morning, the artist behind “Please Please Please” posted a collection of travel memories as a slideshow, featuring her time at a charming Tuscan-inspired villa among other destinations.

In the first image, she posed outside next to a large tree in a tiny white crop top and hot pants.

With her well-defined stomach on display, the singer seemed at ease, offering a gentle smile, while standing before beautifully tended vineyards.

Various images depicted her strolling across a sofa in a breathtaking red dress, enjoying an al fresco meal of spaghetti, engaging in a friendly game of tennis with companions, and exploring local sights.

The carpenter seemed to be thoroughly enjoying herself while sipping a drink, interacting with a stray cat, and perching atop a desktop within the library.

She’s about to spend some time touring Europe, and this adventure takes place only a few weeks prior to her scheduled performance at Lollapalooza in Chicago on August 3rd.

Her upcoming seventh studio album, Man’s Best Friend, is set to be released on August 29, 2025.

In October, she will take the stage at Austin City Limits Music Festival, and afterward, she will continue her Short n’ Sweet tour in Pittsburgh, which is not too far from her hometown, Quakertown, Pennsylvania.

The actress’ final stops include New York, Nashville, Toronto and Los Angeles.

The star has recently shared a new update, following the reveal of two revised album covers for “Man’s Best Friend,” after receiving criticism for the initial cover that showed her in a position resembling all fours, with a man appearing to pull her hair.

Many people expressed strong disagreement regarding the controversial image, with some questioning if it represented feminist ideals or catered more to male interests.

The main domestic violence charity criticized Sabrina’s initial album cover, stating that it portrayed women as being equivalent to pets, with additional online critics echoing this sentiment.

In response, Carpenter released an alternative album cover ‘approved by God.’

In the second photograph, she was depicted, standing hand-in-hand with an attractive man, amidst a bustling crowd, and both were rendered in shades of gray.

A week ago, she revealed the cover for her third album, featuring an image of her enveloped by roses, wearing a black lingerie and see-through nightgown.

For those concerned about the fate of her original cover, the record will still be available.

It’s certainly not the first time Sabrina has faced controversy over her embrace of sex.

During her Short n’ Sweet Tour, the artist known as the Espresso Singer controversially enacted various sexual poses while singing her song Juno, which some audience members found inappropriate due to its explicit nature.

She shared with Rolling Stone that it amuses her when people grumble, saying things like, “She only sings about this,” but those are the tunes that have gained fame. It’s quite evident that you find pleasure in it, even to an extent of being preoccupied. You seem to have a deep fascination with sex.

In my performance, there’s a multitude of heartfelt moments beyond just the ‘Juno’ positions, but those are the ones I share and discuss each evening. Unfortunately, I can’t change that. However, if you attend the show, you’ll get to enjoy the softer ballads as well as the more reflective numbers too.

‘I see a pattern of irony and humor repeating itself, which amuses me. However, there’s a constant pressure on me to remain entertaining.’

During our subsequent conversation with the magazine, we revisited the topic: “I don’t want to come off as negative, but I honestly believe that I’ve never experienced a time when women have been more critically examined and judged in all aspects. This isn’t just about me; it encompasses every female artist who is creating art today.

Sabrina agreed, stating, “Exactly what I meant.” or simply, “I concur.

In this peculiar era, one might expect an outpouring of female camaraderie and empowerment. However, the irony lies in how quickly people resort to harsh criticism when they first lay eyes on a woman wearing a dress on a red carpet, making negative comments within the initial 30 seconds of viewing.

Sabrina composed a tune as a response to the online critique she encountered, aptly titled “Needless To Say,” which served as an exclusive bonus track on her album, “Short and Sweet,” only available in vinyl format.

‘Some lines suggest: ‘A beautiful gown, an uncomfortable position/I imagine you took a closer look and shared it with your group.’

Sabrina stated, “It’s something recurring, and we need to develop tougher hide, yet they don’t necessarily need to stop talking.
