Sabrina Carpenter shared on Instagram Wednesday that she unintentionally started a small fire in her bathroom.
The 26-year-old singer, recently critical of her former boyfriend Barry Keoghan, posted a picture of a badly burned sink on her Instagram Stories.
There was a small red candle set on the side of the scorched beige countertop.
Carpenter casually mentioned on social media that they’d accidentally set their bathroom on fire, and followed it with a heart emoji, offering no further explanation.
The singer shared a collection of photos with her almost 50 million followers, reflecting on the past year as the New Year approached.
It comes after one week ago she released new tracks for her Man’s Best Friend album.

She reached out to her fans to express her gratitude for a wonderful year and to share a new song for anyone needing a good emotional release during the holidays.
I’m so excited to share that ‘Man’s Best Friend,’ including the bonus track ‘Such a Funny Way,’ is now available on all your favorite streaming platforms! It’s one of my personal favorites, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
In early December, Carpenter announced the end of her 14-month Short n’ Sweet tour with a personal post on TikTok.
The singer, known for her hit ‘Espresso,’ shared behind-the-scenes details about the show on social media, revealing some surprising facts about how it was made.
Along with snapshots taken at different spots on the stage, she added revelatory comments.
Carpenter described leaving behind a painful past, referencing a time when she feigned surprise at a sentimental performance. She also mentioned the fireplace as a place of unpredictable experiences, comparing the uncertainty to not knowing if a drink would be water or tequila.
The blonde woman, standing on a white staircase, jokingly called it the one that had caused her many falls.
She shared a post saying ‘Short n’ Sweet tour forever’ along with a kiss emoji, and it quickly received millions of likes from her 36.5 million followers.

The artist’s hugely popular tour concluded with a final show in Los Angeles at the Crypto.com Arena, located in the city center.
The tour began in September 2024 and featured a busy schedule of 72 performances around the globe.
As if she wasn’t busy enough, our favorite artist dropped another album this past August! It’s called Man’s Best Friend, and it’s a fantastic addition to her already incredible work. I’ve been listening non-stop, and I think you’ll love it too!
Her work on the project has been recognized with an impressive six Grammy nominations for the awards ceremony in February 2026.
Taking to Instagram weeks ago, the entertainer said goodbye to her tour in a more formal manner.
She posted a series of candid photos from her shows, along with a long, heartfelt message.
‘This show really was everything I’ve dreamt of making since i was young,’ she wrote.
He explained that combining a physical set with the feeling of a true home, alongside the joy of working with incredibly kind and talented people, and all the laughter and funny moments they shared, made saying goodbye especially difficult.
The message went on to say that the fans had sold out every show at venues she’d always dreamed of playing. She shared that each night reminded her why she loves her job and how fortunate she is to have it, and she believes she’ll fondly remember this tour for years to come, wishing she could relive those moments.
