Sabrina Carpenter fans slam her 2025 tour ticket prices as ‘scandalous and appalling’ and label it ‘bank breaking for families’ and unjustified for artist ‘with AT MOST four well known songs’
I’ve been a devoted fan of Sabrina Carpenter for years now, and I’m thrilled to hear that she’ll be embarking on her own tour soon. But as I try to secure tickets for myself and my daughter, I can’t help but feel dismayed by the exorbitant prices. It seems that the more passionate we fans are about seeing Sabrina, the more we’re being taken advantage of financially.
Fans of Sabrina Carpenter have expressed outrage over the high ticket prices for her Short n’ Sweet 2025 tour, which were released for hundreds of pounds each.
The singer, who is now 25 years old, has attracted more followers due to her popular tunes “Expresso” and “Please Please Please,” in addition to her romantic link-up with Barry Keoghan, aged 31.
Her angry followers argue that her prices are excessive given her relatively recent rise to fame and limited drawing power. They also believe that she’s pushing away fans who can’t afford these prices.
Some individuals, as they bemoaned the high ticket costs for seeing artists such as Taylor Swift and Beyoncé at the O2, noted that Sabrina only had “two popular songs and two additional modest hits” to her name.
Several individuals expressed their frustration after being unable to access Ticketmaster and secure tickets during the frenzy on Tuesday, with over 50,000 people attempting to buy seats for Taylor’s Eras Tour, stating that the process was more challenging than previous ticket purchasing experiences.
On social media, some people poked fun at one of Sabrina’s well-known lyrics by joking that “working late” was necessary to afford seeing her, with one commenter adding that it required giving up nearly a quarter of one’s earnings.
I can’t believe it! After hours of waiting in that long queue for Sabrina Carpenter tickets, only to find out they cost a whopping £234 each. I mean, come on! For a show at the O2, an artist with just two hit singles and two other moderate hits? Absolutely appalling, it feels like a real slap in the face. As a dedicated fan, I’ve saved up for weeks to get these tickets, and this is the thanks I get? It’s disheartening to see such overpricing, especially when it makes attending live events an unattainable luxury for many fans.
Sabrina Carpenter’s Dublin ticket prices are shockingly high. With just two popular hits, one would think the pricing for her show, €97 for standing tickets, is exaggerated and disproportionate to her current fan base.
I can understand the frustration and disappointment when the price of Sabrina Carpenter tickets leaves you shocked. I remember saving up for months to buy tickets to my favorite artist’s concert, only to find out that the prices had skyrocketed. It’s disheartening to know that the amount of money required doesn’t diminish your fandom or your excitement for the event. Sabrina Carpenter is new and rising, but it seems like her success has come with a steep price tag. I had every intention of securing my tickets through O2 priority sales today, but the cost was beyond my expectations. It’s a bitter pill to swallow when you realize that hundreds of pounds are being asked for what feels like an entry fee to a concert. I guess it’s just the reality of the music industry these days, but it doesn’t make it any easier on fans like us.
“Taylor Swift, a renowned figure with decades of experience, delivered an impressive 3.5-hour performance that left many fans reaching for their wallets. Surprisingly, newcomer Sabrina Carpenter, who has only gained recognition through a handful of popular songs (at most four), is demanding similar high ticket prices. I’m a fan of Sabrina, but it seems excessive.”
“It’s unfortunate that Sabrina Carpenter tickets cost around £230 for nosebleat seats. That seems excessively high, almost unfair, considering she only has a handful of popular songs to her name. Nose bleed sections are pricier than Beyoncé’s golden circle tickets? That just doesn’t add up.”
“Are Sabrina Carpenter tickets in Dublin really going for €207-€282 each on Ticketmaster Ireland? This is supposedly the same as regular tickets, yet it’s even pricier than VIP passes?! I can’t believe this pricing! Please don’t buy these overpriced tickets to let Ticketmaster Ireland know that this isn’t market value.”
In the past, concerts used to cost around $50 each. Today’s prices of $300-600 seem excessive and insensitive to inflation. We shouldn’t be spending that much money just to see our favorite artists. The price for nosebleed seats at £234 is quite amusing, in a frustrating way.
“I’ll be working past regular hours tonight.” due to my persistent efforts in securing Sabrina Carpenter’s UK tour tickets, but Ticketmaster seems determined to make it difficult and the prices are exorbitantly high – I paid less for both of her previous concert tours combined.
“The cost of Sabrina Carpenter tickets left me in shock…. It used to be an affordable experience for all to enjoy concerts, but now you need to set aside a significant portion of your earnings just to secure a spot. These days, attending a concert feels like a luxury, and that’s just to find a seat close to the rafters!”
To TopMob, fan Kate Pomercy expressed her disappointment, stating that her mother had purchased six tickets at exorbitant prices due to the high demand for Sabrina’s appearance. She believed that fans’ eagerness to attend was being unfairly taken advantage of.
I’ve attended a few concerts in my time, and let me tell you, the prices for this upcoming event have left me in disbelief. For section 12, each ticket retails at an eye-watering £450. Add to that the standing tickets, which range from £200 to £300, and it becomes clear that this is a significant financial investment for most families. I can only imagine the struggle many are facing to afford these prices. It’s not just the initial cost of the tickets; resale prices are rapidly approaching Taylor Swift levels. This isn’t just about breaking the bank – it’s potentially devastating for those who were hoping to create a cherished memory with their loved ones at this concert.
Alice Burns was taken aback by the high cost of Sabrina tickets when she went to buy them for her daughter, as she had previously agreed to do so.
After having a brain tumor scan at 9 am, which is her daughter’s routine, she was excited to get in line and purchase tickets as soon as possible afterwards.
After enduring a wait of approximately fifty minutes, she successfully obtained tickets priced at £192 each. Unfortunately, these seats are located in the circle section but farther back than she had desired. The best I could afford was this higher-priced location.
As a lifestyle expert, I understand the concerns some fans have expressed regarding the difficulty of obtaining tickets for certain events, following criticisms leveled against previous tours of artists like Taylor, which were marred by ticketing crises. To clarify, I believe it’s important to acknowledge and address these concerns in a straightforward manner. Essentially, some fans have found it more challenging than anticipated to secure tickets for various events, leading to frustration and disappointment.
Previously, between August 2023 and March 2024, Sabrina served as the opening act for Taylor’s Eras Tour in Latin America, Australia, and Asia.
As Taylor wraps up her tour by the end of this year, there’s growing excitement among fans for Sabrina, but it appears the transition is posing a challenge.
Fans expressed their exasperation over obtaining Sabrina Carpenter tickets, remarking: “Getting Sabrina Carpenter tickets feels more taxing than securing passes to the Eras tour.”
Beginning on March 3 in Dublin, Sabrina will initiate her tour. After that, she will travel to Birmingham, London, Glasgow, Manchester, Paris, Berlin, Brussels, and lastly, Amsterdam, concluding her tour on March 23.
In 2025, she is scheduled to perform at several large venues in various cities, such as Glasgow’s OVO Hydro, London’s O2 Arena, and Manchester’s Co-op Live.
Sabrina will entertain the crowd with her biggest songs like “Please Please Please,” “Nonsense,” and “Feather.” As a special treat, Rachel Chinouriri has been announced as her opening act.
A brief tour announcement from Sabrina has been released, following closely on the heels of her announcement about an upcoming album titled “Short n’ Sweet,” which will reportedly consist of twelve songs.
“I’m excited to announce that my new album will be released on August 23rd! This project holds a dear place in my heart, and I hope you’ll find something meaningful in it as well. Go ahead and preorder it now to secure your copy!”
