Saber Interactive “saddened” by Space Marine II Leak

Saber Interactive "saddened" by Space Marine II Leak

As a dedicated gamer with years of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel disheartened and frustrated by the recent leak of the Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II pre-release build. The anticipation for this game has been building up for what feels like an eternity, and the thought of playing an almost year-old, unfinished version is a major letdown.

As a long-time fan of the Warhammer 40,000 universe and an avid gamer, I was both excited and concerned when news broke about the alleged leak of Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment’s upcoming game, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II. Having experienced similar situations in the past with other games I’ve been looking forward to, I couldn’t help but feel a pang of disappointment and uncertainty.

I came across an early version of the highly anticipated shooter game that was supposed to be released soon, around late June. Somehow, it found its way onto the internet and ended up on various torrent sites.

In a post on Twitter, Focus Entertainment said:

Our community’s heartfelt reactions to the leaked version of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 have left us feeling profoundly moved.

I’ve put countless hours, emotion, and commitment into developing a game that lives up to your excitement and anticipation. It’s disappointing that some of the surprises we carefully guarded have been revealed prematurely.

I’m deeply disappointed that when I, along with many other passionate fans, get to play Space Marine 2 for the first time, it will be an older build, close to a year since its creation.

“We’ve always prioritized providing an exceptional gaming experience for our players. To achieve this, we chose to invest additional development time and effort, ensuring a top-notch product is delivered.”

As a long-time gaming enthusiast and someone who has eagerly anticipated the release of many highly-anticipated games, I wholeheartedly understand the excitement and joy that comes with experiencing a new game for the first time, unspoiled by spoilers or early leaks. That’s why, based on my own experiences, I strongly urge everyone to avoid the unfinished build of Space Marine 2 and wait for its official launch on September 9.

“See you all in a few weeks.

“For the Emperor!”

As an avid gamer excitedly looking forward to my next adventure in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, I can’t help but share the news that Space Marine II is set to drop on my gaming calendar. Mark your calendars, fellow gamers! On September 9th, we’ll be able to jump into the action on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. Can’t wait to explore new worlds, meet intriguing characters, and engage in epic battles with this highly anticipated sequel!
