46-year-old S Club member showcased her stunning appearance in several selfies, sporting a messy bob hairstyle with her icy blonde hair and highlighting her captivating features with eyeliner and vibrant hot pink lipstick.

In the photos, Jo exuded casual elegance by combining a taupe top featuring a keyhole neckline and fitted pants.

The woman with one child posted her photos to her 70,000 Instagram followers, announcing: ‘Heading out for the day! I have a date today #MondayFunDay’.

Although Jo didn’t disclose the identity of her mysterious companion, this new development signifies a significant change in her stance, as she had earlier maintained she held ‘little enthusiasm’ towards dating.

After welcoming her son Lenny, who’s 17 years old, with her former partner Bill Slate, Jo has found herself single. In a past conversation, she openly shared that she’s currently not seeking a romantic relationship.

As a devoted fan, I can share that the BRIT award-winning artist parted ways with Bill, marking the end of their two-year journey together. Beyond the fact that they’ve been co-parenting in an amicable manner, specific details about their relationship remain somewhat elusive.

In 2022, she shared that for the past 14 years, she has been living independently. To clarify, she’s had occasional pecks and sweet moments, but nothing substantial or long-term.

I’ve been solo since Lenny’s father and I parted ways, and I find contentment in this independence. I haven’t ventured into dating apps as they hold no appeal for me. My life revolves around my two rescue dogs, my career, and a son whom I adore. I’m quite content with this arrangement.

The songwriter known for “Have You Ever” playfully mentioned that she’s quite busy with her teenage son, yet clarified emphatically that she wouldn’t present anyone she wasn’t fully committed to to him.

She mentioned that she tends to be cautious around men due to having a teenage son, meaning she wouldn’t present any man to him except in the event of marriage. Moreover, she expressed that dealing with her son’s messes already takes up enough time, so she has no interest in handling someone else’s clothes.

Previously, bandmate Jon Lee playfully ridiculed Jo for being particular, and they had humorous exchanges touching on her personal preferences, during an evening out last December that involved alcohol.

In a playful video, Jon joked to Jo, “You’ve only just made your debut… So, what’s your sexual orientation currently?

She responded: ‘I’m Autosexual,’ before bursting into laughter and asking: ‘What does it mean Jon?’

He playfully retorted, “That translates to you being self-absorbed, as you consider yourself more appealing than others.

Jo’s decision to date comes amid a slew of health woes for the singer. 

Last month, the artist known for “Bring It All Back” shared that she was admitted to the hospital due to long-standing problems with her spine.

Jo posted a sad-looking selfie on her Instagram Story, captured from the hospital bed where she currently lies.

Next to her photo, she wrote: ‘I’m back in the hospital again! My back pain has returned! I wasn’t planning on being here today.’

Although the specific reason isn’t specified, it was necessary for Jo to undergo an emergency spinal operation in November 2022 to extract a disc. This unexpected event forced her to cancel several performances, including her scheduled appearance at Fife Pride.

At the given moment, she disclosed that she felt incredibly sad (devastated) and was experiencing severe pain (horrendous) due to the surgery not performing quite as effectively as anticipated.

Shortly after leaving the hospital, she found herself there again and shared a photo of her IV setup, accompanied by this caption: “When will I finally have some rest? I truly believed I was on my way to getting better.

‘4am this morning the pain was the worst it’s been yet! So here we are again ! I am devastated.’

She didn’t provide any further details regarding her absence or potential solutions. On October 25, Jo disclosed that the initial operation had been unsuccessful.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, I share that I’m facing another round of surgery, following recent MRI results. At this moment, I find myself in a challenging spot, feeling very much like I’m struggling through a tough phase in my life.

In the video, she mentioned that she was lying down in bed once more due to her back acting up again.

I’ve been experiencing unbearable discomfort, and today I received the MRI scan results, which unfortunately didn’t turn out as hoped.

It turns out that I need to return to the hospital for more operations on my back, and I’m really upset by this fact. To put it plainly, the pain I’m experiencing is truly unbearable.

As I reflect upon my current state, I must confess that my injury has been pushing me into some challenging emotional territories. To put it plainly, I’ve found myself in a rather low spot, truth be told.

Over the past few days, I’ve been feeling quite down. It’s been a challenging time, but I remain optimistic that after my upcoming surgery, I’ll regain my strength and vigor, eager to get back into the fray with renewed energy and a hopeful outlook.

Well, I received the MRI scan results I had been dreading, and it appears another back surgery is on the horizon. I must admit, it’s disheartening that the first attempt didn’t yield the desired outcome, but my current back condition leaves me with little choice.

Afterward, she expressed gratitude to her fans for their unwavering affection and encouragement, saying: “Thank you so much for your endless love and support! And by the way, it’s nearly Halloween, which means just one thing!! Give ‘Thriller’ a stream! I adore each and every one of you!
