S Club 7’s Jo O’Meara Hospitalized in Agonizing Pain: Health Crisis Escalates
Jo O’Meara has been rushed to hospital as she has been plagued with further health woes on Monday.
46-year-old Tess from S Club 7 disclosed experiencing the most intense pain so far, suggesting she was undergoing medical care at a hospital due to her back problems.
Instead of sharing a cheerful post, the woman with blonde hair decided to upload a sad selfie on her Instagram Story, taken from her hospital bed.
She expressed deep sadness when she found herself in the hospital, as she conveyed her health update accompanied by an emoticon symbolizing tears, to her worried followers and well-known peers.
Jo shared that she was feeling quite low due to her recent health issue, as she had anticipated being on a path to wellness instead.
Back in November 2022, I found myself undergoing an unexpected emergency surgery on my spine to eliminate a troublesome disc. This unplanned event necessitated me to cancel some of my much-anticipated performances, such as Fife Pride, which left me feeling quite dejected.
Immediately following her disclosure that she felt ‘overwhelmed with sorrow’ and enduring an ‘extremely severe’ level of distress due to the surgery not going exactly as planned.
As a lifestyle advisor, I’ve found myself back in the hospital once more, and it seems like fate just won’t let up. With a IV drip by my side, I can’t help but wonder when my luck will turn around. I truly believed that I was on the path to recovery, only for life to throw me another curveball.
‘4am this morning the pain was the worst it’s been yet! So here we are again ! I am devastated.’
She added no more information as to when she might be out or news of a possible remedy.
On October 25 Jo revealed the first operation hadn’t worked.
In an Instagram video posted from her bed, she shared that she needs another operation following her latest MRI scan, expressing that she is currently struggling emotionally, feeling as though she’s in a very challenging situation.
In the video, she mentioned that she was lying down in bed once more due to her back being troublesome again.
As a dedicated follower, I’ve been experiencing unbearable pain lately, and today, the MRI scan results I was hoping would bring some relief, did not. The news is that I’ll need to return to the hospital for more back surgery – a prospect I must admit leaves me feeling utterly disheartened.
‘The pain is… horrendous.’

Jo confessed that her injury was greatly affecting her mental well-being, as she put it: “It has left me feeling rather quite low, if I may be truthful.
Over the past few days, I’ve been struggling quite a bit and feeling quite down. However, I remain optimistic that this upcoming surgery will help me regain my strength and enthusiasm, allowing me to return to my usual self and take on new challenges with vigor. In other words, I’m staying hopeful and focusing on the positive outcomes ahead.
She titled her post: ‘Just received the MRI scan results I dreaded, which means I need another back surgery to attempt repair. Honestly, I’m devastated that the initial operation didn’t solve the problem, and my back is really causing me trouble right now.’
After that, she expressed her gratitude to her fans by saying: “I appreciate all the love and support you keep sending my way! By the way, Halloween is just around the corner, which means only one thing… Time to stream ‘Thriller’! I adore each of you greatly.
Previously open about her battles with a gambling problem, the performer sustained an injury during the making of the S Club movie “Seeing Double” back in 2002.
Just recently, it was disclosed that she required immediate back surgery, as she had been hastily taken to the hospital during her rehearsals for an upcoming performance.
As a loyal fan, I was moved when one of my beloved S Club stars recently posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, sharing an image of herself donning a hospital gown. In her own words, she disclosed some truly heartbreaking news that has touched us all deeply.

At the specified moment, the singer disclosed that she would cease performances due to undergoing spinal surgery to “extract the disc and rectify the issue.
She wrote: ‘IMPORTANT UPDATE 😞 I deeply regret to inform you that I won’t be able to make it to @fifepride this coming Saturday! Apologies for any inconvenience caused.’
It’s important to mention that I’ve been dealing with some troubles related to my back health lately, which unfortunately necessitated a surgical procedure to extract a damaged disc and address the underlying issue.
Due to excruciating discomfort, I’ve learned that surgery is the sole remaining choice for me, and it’s crucial that this procedure is performed promptly to avert any more harm to my spine.
I’m scheduled for a procedure tomorrow, which means I won’t be able to attend the special event. I’m truly disappointed about this, and I sincerely apologize.
I want to make it clear that while this choice wasn’t easy, prioritizing my health right now is absolutely necessary for me!
‘Sending you all so much love and please make sure to Reach for those Stars. Lots of love Jo’.
