Rylan Clark has revealed he’s in a happy new relationship, describing his boyfriend, Kennedy Bates, as the person he’s been searching for for a long time.

The 37-year-old TV host shared his thoughts on Instagram just before the start of 2026, calling the past year ‘amazing’.

Rylan, who started dating someone in August, shared that he’s ending the year feeling ‘happy’ with his partner, Kennedy.

He posted a message on a black background saying he’s ending the year happily with someone he’s waited a long time to be with.

Thank you for a wonderful year! We’re saying goodbye to 2025 and looking forward to 2026. Wishing you all safety, good health, and kindness towards one another.

Rylan received lots of supportive comments from his fans and friends like Carol Vorderman, Louise Redknapp, and Ruth Langsford.

This follows the TV presenter publicly confirming their relationship with Kennedy on Instagram in September. Kennedy manages operations at Billy Bates & Sons, a funfair located in Leicestershire.

Rylan seemed overjoyed, posting several affectionate photos from his romantic getaway to Florence, Italy.

These vacation photos were shared just weeks after Rylan announced that his current boyfriend is the first man he’s brought home to meet his family since his divorce.

Rylan Clark and Dan Neal were married for six years before divorcing in 2021. The split followed Rylan’s admission of infidelity.

Rylan and his partner have talked about having children, and Rylan shared with Louis that they both want to start a family.

Rylan shared that he’s feeling really happy right now. He recently started a new relationship that feels amazing and unlike anything he’s experienced before, which he sees as a positive thing.

I’m really happy to have finally introduced someone to my family – it’s been four years since I last did that. I usually prefer to keep things private and avoid going to restaurants, but I’ve been doing the opposite lately.

It’s funny, I’ve been so obvious about something that no one seems to have picked up on it, and honestly, I’m feeling pretty good about that – I’m going to embrace it.

I was hesitant at first, worried about my job and keeping things private, but I definitely don’t want to miss this opportunity.

‘I’m loving what I’ve got at the minute and I want to keep it that way.’

Later on, Louis offered Rylan some relationship advice, explaining that having children adds extra challenges you need to work through together.

“Have you been giving that some thought?” Louis asked. Rylan responded, “Yeah, we both want to have kids.”

Rylan revealed he’s dating someone new on BBC Radio 2 last week, following a segment featuring a clip from his podcast conversation with Louis.

When the video finished, Lottie playfully asked if there was anything else he hadn’t shared, leading to a fun back-and-forth. Rylan jokingly avoided answering at first, but eventually admitted he was dating someone.

He admitted it felt strange to share on the radio, but confirmed he was dating someone. He explained he’d been keeping it a secret for a long time.

Lottie shared that she and her coworkers had met Rylan’s new boyfriend and found him to be very kind. Rylan himself confirmed he’s feeling happy and fulfilled in the relationship.

Rylan playfully suggested that by talking about his relationship, he could finally put an end to rumors that he was seeing his friend Robert Rinder.

Holly Willoughby, the host of This Morning, has reportedly been secretly dating a funfair worker named Kennedy for several months. Sources say they’ve been practically joined at the hip all summer.

According to a source, Rylan seems much happier since meeting someone new, and they’ve been spending a lot of quality time together.

Rylan’s family and friends have gotten to know each other well this summer, enjoying many concerts together, like the one featuring Oasis.

The insider told The Sun on Sunday: ‘They’re inseparable, they make a lovely couple.’
