Ryan Thomas’s business is facing severe financial difficulties, with reports indicating they have only £1 left in their bank account following the cancellation of his popular TV show.
The 41-year-old actor, best known for his role as Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street, also owns and operates a company called R James Thomas Ltd.
He reportedly uses the money he makes from TV appearances, social media, and sponsorships.
The company’s latest financial records, submitted to Companies House, reveal a balance of only one pound in its account over the past year, ending in January.
In the previous year, his cash balance stood at £41,361.
The business made a profit of £28,275 when its assets were included, according to The Sun.

The report also notes that Ryan still owes £30,000 on a Coronavirus Bounce Back Loan.
R James Thomas Ltd still had a profitable year, with a corporation tax bill of £55,062.
Daily Mail has contacted a representative for Ryan for comment.
Oh my gosh, I just *have* to tell you about Ryan! He’s a dad to the cutest kids – Roman, who’s five, and little Lilah, who’s three – with his amazing girlfriend, Lucy Mecklenburgh. They’ve been engaged since 2019, and honestly, they’re the sweetest family ever! I’ve been following them for ages and just adore watching Roman and Lilah grow up. It’s so lovely to see!
He shares parenting responsibilities for his 16-year-old daughter, Scarlett, with his former partner, Tina O’Brien, who is an actress on Coronation Street.
Ryan hosts the podcast ‘At Home with the Thomas Bros’ alongside his brothers, and he was the winner of ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ in 2018.
Earlier this year, it came out that his game show, ’99 To Beat,’ which he hosted with his brother Adam on ITV, was canceled after only one season.
The show, which aired on Saturday nights on the main channel, was a physical competition inspired by the popular series Squid Game.

It saw 100 players go head-to-head in a number of games to win the cash prize of £25,000.
The main rule of the show was straightforward: if you avoid finishing last, you have a shot at winning the prize.
Actor Adam, 36, who appears on Emmerdale, shared the news of its cancellation during an episode of his podcast, Mancs On The Mic.
It’s frustrating because whenever I feel good about plans, they seem to fall through. I really don’t understand what I’m doing to cause that.
I previously hosted the ‘Extra Camp’ spin-off show for ‘I’m a Celebrity,’ but it was cancelled after just one season.
‘The next presenting job I did was with Ryan, 99 To Beat, and that’s got cancelled.’
ITV has confirmed the show ’99 To Beat’ is its biggest entertainment launch of the year, surpassing all other programs on both traditional channels and streaming services, according to an ITV spokesperson.
The show attracted 12.5 million viewers and was streamed more than 4 million times on ITVX. While the Thomas brothers did a great job hosting, we’ve decided not to make any more episodes at this time.
