Ryan Reynolds is continuing to expand his acting career beyond his popular role as Deadpool. He recently joined the cast of a movie based on a well-known story from the 1970s, and now he’s landed another project adapted from a thriller released over 50 years ago.
I just heard some exciting news! Ryan Reynolds is going to be starring in a remake of the classic film Thunderbolt and Lightfoot. Not only that, but he’s also producing it! The original, which I love, featured Clint Eastwood and Jeff Bridges – big shoes to fill, but I’m really looking forward to seeing what Reynolds brings to the role.
Ryan Reynolds will not only star in and produce the upcoming remake of the crime thriller, but he’ll also be a co-writer. He’s teaming up with Enzo Mileti and Scott Wilson, the writers behind Season 4 of the popular series Fargo. The remake of Thunderbolt and Lightfoot will be directed by Shane Reid, who is making his directorial debut after working as an editor on Reynolds’ Deadpool & Wolverine.
