Ryan Reynolds shocks as he leans in for KISS with Blake Lively’s SISTER… but all is not what it seems

Ryan Reynolds was taken aback when he went in for a kiss with someone he thought was Blake Lively’s sister… however, things weren’t quite as they appeared.

As a devoted admirer, I took it upon myself to pay tribute to the iconic role of Doogie Howser, M.D., by emulating the character at age 48. This act was in response to Neil Patrick Harris, the show’s original star, lending his voice to Deadpool for Marvel’s latest VR game.

Ryan, who’s been portraying an anti-character since 2009, found the news amusing enough to create a witty video imitating Neil’s role and poking fun at the casting decision.

In a different phrasing, we can say that Blake’s older sibling, Robyn (age 53), portrayed Nurse Michele Farber on the television series “Doogie Howser, M.D.” and appeared briefly in the parody version as well.

In the video, Ryan composes a letter on his computer and recites it out loud: ‘Today, I discovered an unexpected lesson concerning the human anatomy, which isn’t typically covered in medical education.’

He went on saying: “Those who take over your iconic roles are the most obnoxious individuals imaginable. No, I’m not accusing Meta Quest of this action.

Neil Patrick Harris possesses a talent for acting, reminiscent of an angelic choir, but despite not having gone through puberty myself, I can still recognize when someone is being significantly disadvantaged or taken advantage of.

In another place, it’s been pushed back an astounding seven months for the actor’s next film, due to his wife Blake’s ongoing legal issues with Justin Baldoni.

Originally planned for a fall release on October 10, 2025, the film titled “Animal Friends,” a blend of real-life actors and animation featuring Reynolds, was initially set to hit theaters with an R rating.

Presently, the release date for the Warner Bros Pictures and Legendary Entertainment production has been pushed back. It is now scheduled to premiere on May 1, 2026, as reported by Deadline.

On Tuesday, the significant adjustment to the schedule became publicly known, however, no official explanation has been given as to why this change occurred.

Initially scheduled for release on May 1, 2026, the new Marvel movie “Avengers: Doomsday” was later moved to December 18, 2026. This shift could create a vacancy in May, possibly offering an opportunity for the release of “Animal Friends.

Reynolds stands out among an impressive ensemble that includes Aubrey Plaza, Jason Momoa, Addison Rae, Eric André, Dan Levy, and Rob Delaney.
