Okay, so I just heard some exciting news! Ryan Reynolds is teaming up with Amazon MGM to remake Thunderbolt and Lightfoot – you know, that fantastic crime comedy from 1974 with Clint Eastwood and Jeff Bridges? I’m really curious to see what he does with it. It’s a classic, but I’m hoping they can bring a fresh take to the story!
Sources at The Hollywood Reporter say Ryan Reynolds might star in and produce an upcoming movie through his production company, Maximum Effort.
The actor and producer is also contributing to the script for Thunderbolt & Lightfoot. The remake will be written by Enzo Mileti and Scott Wilson, the writers behind season 4 of Fargo.
