Last week, he found himself and his wife Blake named as defendants in a lawsuit filed by the director and lead actor of the movie, Justin Baldoni, over allegations of defamation.

Justin, aged 40, and his representatives assert that the actress, aged 37, devised a plan to sabotage their careers and impugn them through ‘unfounded allegations of sexual misconduct’ – following her lawsuit filed around Christmas time, in which she accused the actor of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment during the film production.

Since then, he has retaliated with a lawsuit, and while many have been engrossed by the accusations directed at Blake, Justin has dropped several shocking revelations about Ryan. He claims that Ryan resorted to ‘swearing’, launched an angry verbal attack on him, and attempted to manipulate the movie’s script.

As an over-the-moon fan, I can’t help but share the latest scoop: court documents allege that the beloved A-list duo allegedly leveraged their joint stardom to take control of “It Ends With Us,” while Justin additionally asserts that Ryan supposedly reached out to his talent agency, urging them to terminate their partnership with the director due to accusations of being a ‘sexual predator’.

In reaction to the submitted documents, Blake’s lawyers vigorously countered that Justin and his film studio, Wayfarer Studios, were employing tactics from the ‘abuser playbook’ in their $400 million lawsuit.

In a different wording: ‘Attempts are being made to divert attention towards Ms. Lively, by spreading untrue rumors about her taking creative control and estranging the cast from Mr. Baldoni. However, it will become clear through the evidence that both the cast and others had their own unfavorable interactions with Mr. Baldoni and Wayfarer.’

Although Ryan wasn’t explicitly named, it was strongly suggested that he had no involvement in taking creative control, as the denial was implicitly made.

According to recent reports, Justin’s group has disclosed their intention to create a website to strengthen his allegations against Blake, and it seems this ongoing dispute is far from reaching a resolution.

Additionally, Hugh found himself under scrutiny due to an unexpected revelation about his past relationship with his fellow The Music Man cast member, Sutton Foster.

The couple starred together in the Broadway revival from December 2021 until January 2023.
