Ryan Reynolds leaves Hugh Jackman stunned as he beats him in maths challenge despite revealing he was two years behind at school

During their live interview on Capital FM on Thursday, Ryan Reynolds surprised and left his co-star speechless after winning a live on-air math contest between the two of them.
The 47-year-old actor confessed that he didn’t have much self-assurance regarding the assignment since he took the 10th grade math exam during his final year of high school instead.
Instead, Ryan left Hugh Jackman, 55, astonished after effortlessly figuring out the puzzle in just a few seconds.
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, the stars of Deadpool and Wolverine, were given a playful challenge: they were asked to go head-to-head using their superhero abilities – strength, intelligence, agility, charisma, and compassion.
At the mental competition on Capital TV, Kemi Rodgers posed a math problem as a riddle for the two actors to figure out.
He asked, “How do you both handle mathematics?” In response, Ryan stated, “We aren’t labeled as ‘geniuses at math’ around here. That isn’t how I see ourselves or Hugh in this subject.”
I’ll give it a try: When Kemi responded, she said, “Let’s wait and see how it unfolds since I’ve got a math challenge for us.” As for Ryan, he added, “In my opinion, Hugh excels in math.”
Hugh said: ‘Do you? It’s been a long time.’
Ryan commented, “This individual excels in managing finances. That’s an area where I personally struggled back in high school. In fact, I was in the wrong grade for math at that time – 12th instead of 10th. Quite embarrassing, but I proved them wrong.”

Ryan joked: ‘I’m already dead in the water.’
Kemi continued, “Ten more individuals joined the bus at the initial stop. Thus, the current passenger count totals sixty-seven. So, how many people originally boarded the bus?”
Within moments, Ryan answered: ’69!’, to the shock of everyone in the room.
He said: ‘What happened…did I get that right? In your face Jackman! You will never live this down.’
After poking fun about Hugh’s recent divorce from Deborra-Lee Furness, who he was married to for 27 years, during his guest hosting of Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday.
He alluded to his co-star’s marital status after a fan asked whether they had girlfriends.
At the start of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the duo, dressed in fashionable suits with untied bow ties, entertained queries from the public.
Eleven-year-old Maya, a girl among us, inquired if the two distinguished guests were searching for companions due to what appeared as their solitude.
Before responding to her query with a “thank you,” Ryan mentioned that he had been married to Blake Lively. At this point, he gestured toward Hugh, making incoherent sounds, which brought amusement and a dismissive head shake from the actor, who is currently unattached.
