A seasoned SNL insider disclosed that Ryan Reynolds opted against an intended gag from the writers and instead came up with his own humorous remark concerning Justin Baldoni during the last moment, just before the show went live.

Wally Feresten, often referred to as “Cue Card Wally” by fans due to his longtime work on the program since 1990, claimed that it was Ryan Reynolds himself who came up with the dry joke about Ryan’s wife’s lawsuit against her It Ends With Us co-star.

Blake Lively laughed and cooperated when her spouse, who is 48 years old, delivered a humorous remark on the ‘SNL 50: The Anniversary Special’. This interaction occurred during a lively question-and-answer session moderated by hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

What’s the news?” The humor in his remark subtly references the controversy surrounding Kevin Costner, who seemed less than thrilled about something.

It was uncertain if Ryan came up with his joke during the show on Sunday night spontaneously, but later, Wally Feresten confirmed that Ryan actually proposed the joke himself. He decided against a different one provided by SNL’s writers after their rehearsal on Sunday.

In the rehearsal, he proposed a new line instead of the original one. He presented this alternative as a replacement, Mr. Feresten explained, and further clarified that it was his idea to make the change in that specific place.

As a connoisseur of the vibrant world of entertainment, I can attest that the ongoing legal squabble between the renowned Hollywood couple and Baldoni is undeniably contentious. Frankly, I believe it’s safe to assume that the brilliant minds behind Saturday Night Live wouldn’t have proposed such a touchy subject on their own.

He confirmed, “Indeed, that was his plan. That was his suggestion,” he shared with the Australian morning radio program ‘Fifi, Fev & Nick,’ broadcast from Melbourne.

Nevertheless, Mr. Freedman, Baldoni’s attorney, has finally spoken out about what he terms as a “disappointing” adjustment in the contentious legal dispute.

On Tuesday evening, the actress who played Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl submitted a revised lawsuit, alleging that two other actresses on the set of her movie “It Ends With Us” also faced discomfort due to the behavior of the film’s director and co-star.

As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but share my thoughts on the latest buzz from DailyMail.com. Sources close to Blake have cast doubt on the claims being made, stating that Blake seems to be reaching for anything she can find. The so-called ‘smoking guns’ she was rumored to possess? Apparently, they don’t exist. Her revised complaint, according to these sources, is without merit.

The main point here is that there were no allegations of harassment against Justin from any woman on the set, including Blake. It seems unlikely that such incidents would have gone unreported if they had occurred, given that Human Resources (HR) would typically be the first point of contact for such matters.

The informant subsequently pointed out specifically Isabela Ferrer and Jenny Slate, who were part of the drama movie’s cast.

Indeed, Isabella commended Justin, expressing in writing how wonderful it was to collaborate with him. Meanwhile, it’s well-known that Jenny Slate prefers to stay detached from the entire situation, as she has communicated her stance to many individuals.

It appears doubtful that anyone is ready to step forward and publicly support Blake’s allegations against Justin, as there seems to be no direct evidence, such as messages or emails, about these supposed women mentioned in the complaint. On the other hand, Justin appears to have substantial proof supporting his defense, leaving Blake without any apparent evidence to validate her claims.

In brief, as stated by a representative of Blake, the accusation doesn’t mention the potential victim-witnesses nor their text messages or screenshots to preserve their confidentiality.

The spokesperson noted that crucially, the individuals identified as victim-witnesses have granted Ms. Lively authorization to include their correspondences within the Amended Complaint, and they are prepared to provide testimony and relevant documents during the discovery phase.

The accusation is reportedly backed up by ‘substantial evidence from the same time period,’ suggesting that Blake wasn’t the only one making claims of inappropriate behavior on set. Additionally, there’s support for her initial allegations.

It is said to provide evidence of ‘threats, harassment, and intimidation’ directed not only at Blake, but also towards numerous uninvolved onlookers.

Previously, Blake initiated a sexual harassment lawsuit against Justin, whom she had acted alongside and was the director of their popular romantic drama ‘It Ends With Us’ in December.

Later on, Justin initiated a $400 million defamation case targeting Blake, her representative, and her spouse, Ryan Reynolds.

Additionally, he initiated a defamation lawsuit worth $250 million against The New York Times due to their coverage of the accusations made about Blake.

But despite the high-stakes legal battle, it seems neither side plans to back down any time soon.

Next month, a court has set a trial date for the lawsuits in March 2026, and both sides have opted against pursuing mediation instead.

In the meantime, Bryan Freedman, Justin’s attorney, has stated that these accusations have resulted in significant loss of work for his client.
