Ryan Reynolds Faces Backlash for Allegedly Mocking Justin Baldoni Amid Legal Drama
Supporters are criticizing Ryan Reynolds due to accusations that he made fun of Justin Baldoni, as their legal dispute intensifies with a new harsh development.
In the latest legal document, Reynolds stands up for his spouse, Blake Lively, accusing Baldoni of being a ‘predator.’ He also criticizes Baldoni’s sensitive reactions and wounded emotions.
According to Reynolds, he thought Baldoni was harassing his wife during the filming of “It Ends With Us,” a situation that ultimately resulted in both parties filing lawsuits against one another.
In his $400 million defamation lawsuit filed against Reynolds, Lively, and the New York Times, Baldoni asserted that he served as inspiration for a humorously “enlightened” character named Nicepool, who appeared in Reynolds’ latest movie, Deadpool vs. Wolverine.
A vigilant user of X shared a pair of photos, one featuring Reynolds dressed as Nicepool and another with Baldoni, both donning a Mr. Incredible outfit from years past. The comparison left viewers speechless due to the striking similarity between the two pictures.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but share my excitement! It turns out that Melanie King, the one behind the recent posts, has given us a clue about the source of inspiration for Nicepool. Isn’t it fascinating?

Later on, she made the surprising claim that Ryan Reynolds bears a striking resemblance to Justin Baldoni, even with the addition of a nose prosthetic due to him being Jewish, as portrayed in Deadpool.
It remains unconfirmed whether Reynolds donned a fake nose for his role as Nicepool, but his hairstyle, featuring a long man bun that bore a striking resemblance to Baldoni’s when he was in character as Mr. Incredible, is certainly intriguing.
In her recent post, King vigorously criticized Reynolds as a ‘psychopath.’ She also mentioned, ‘Bryan Freedman should take notice of this,’ indicating Reynolds’ lawyer, Baldoni.
King’s responses were swamped by X users expressing their indignant responses to what they believed was Reynolds’ mockery of Baldoni, as they saw it.
Some mentioned that Baldoni had grown his long locks over many years specifically to give it to Locks of Love, an organization that creates wigs for children who lose their hair due to medical conditions such as cancer.
One user commented on the post saying, ‘Justin Baldoni grew his hair long to give it to cancer patients, but Ryan Reynolds made fun of him. Be like Justin Baldoni in a world dominated by Ryan Reynolds.’
In their words, ‘This incident reveals Ryan as an insecure, unappealing character,’ suggesting that they previously found him appealing but now see a less attractive side of his personality due to recent events. They seem unsure if it’s arrogance or low self-esteem, but either way, it’s unsettling.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t help but feel certain that this character is an echo of Justin in disguise. There’s something about him that just screams authenticity, yet he maintains such an endearing demeanor which only adds to the intrigue. Here’s hoping he takes home all the rewards he’s asking for!

Another person implied that Ryan Reynolds’ tendency to tease someone for being overly kind and seemingly flawless reveals his unkind, or even catty, nature.
One user expressed astonishment, saying, “This is downright eerie! I can’t fathom why they’re fixated on this individual!” Another user seemed equally perplexed, remarking, “I never thought they’d attempt something like this and get away with it.
An onlooker was annoyed as they saw Ryan mocking a man who had grown his hair long, intending to later donate it to a charitable organization, finding such behavior inappropriate.
‘Apparently, the user believes this person is exhibiting extremely disturbed actions,’ they asserted passionately. ‘His fixation is concerning and requires urgent assessment by a mental health professional. It’s hard to imagine anyone collaborating with such an unstable jester following these incidents.’
As a seasoned lifestyle advisor, I find myself advocating for a change in my own involvement within the legal proceedings between Baldoni and the parties involved, namely Lively and The New York Times – all of whom are currently engaged in a defamation lawsuit. Specifically, I’ve requested to be excused as a defendant from this case, regarding the initial sexual harassment allegations against Baldoni that were reported by The New York Times.
Across more than 38 pages, Reynolds portrayed himself as a ‘sympathetic partner who has personally observed the emotional turmoil, damage to reputation, and severe financial losses’ his wife experienced.
Reynolds allegedly claimed that Baldoni tried to embarrass him for being a man “who is self-assured enough to hear the opinions of the woman in his marriage and support her.” (or alternatively, “a man who has the courage to listen to the woman in his wife and stand with her.”)
According to Reynolds, he has the right to hold a negative view of Baldoni due to the distress he caused his wife.

According to the reports, it was stated that Mr. Reynolds has the constitutional right under the First Amendment to express profound contempt towards Mr. Baldoni, or any man whom Mr. Reynolds believes has sexually harassed his wife.
The filing marks an extraordinary twist in the epic battle between Baldoni, Reynolds and Lively.
In December of the previous year, Lively was the one who filed a lawsuit, accusing Baldoni of orchestrating a ‘defamatory campaign’ against her, which she claimed was due to frictions on the set of the movie “It Ends With Us,” a film about domestic violence.
Baldoni, 41, countered with a $400 million defamation suit targeting Lively, 37, Reynolds, 48, and The New York Times, after they ran an article detailing accusations leveled against him.
In his recent argument, Reynolds requested to be removed from the case for multiple reasons, yet his fiery tone suggested just how deeply emotional this disagreement has grown.
His legal team inquired about Ryan Reynolds’ involvement in this matter from a legal perspective, other than being an empathetic spouse who has observed the emotional, professional, and financial damage that Ms. Lively has endured. They inquired if there was any connection beyond that. The answer given was no.

Reynolds argued that his inclusion as a defendant stemmed solely from the fact that Steve Sarowitz, a co-founder of Baldoni’s production company Wayfarer Studios, had vowed to take action against him and Lively with an intention of causing them harm, amounting to $100 million.
The actor from Deadpool argues that Baldoni’s accusations are filling the court’s schedule with numerous sections of sensational content aimed at an audience other than this court, having minimal relevance to a substantial legal claim.
Reynolds’ remarks indicate that the accusations leveled against him involve two instances where he was alleged to have referred to Baldoni as a ‘predator’.
But Reynolds says that this is protected speech – because he firmly believes it.
The filing indicates: ‘Baldoni’s complaint doesn’t provide convincing evidence suggesting Mr. Reynolds didn’t believe his comment was accurate; on the contrary, the key points in the complaint suggest that Mr. Reynolds sincerely, maybe fiercely, believes Baldoni exhibits characteristics of a ‘predator’.’
Later, Reynolds mentioned Nicepool, a fictional character in Deadpool & Wolverine’s series from last July, whom Baldoni alleges is modeled after him – right down to the signature man bun hairstyle.
The text indicates that Baldoni’s strong reaction towards the satirical film character, “Nicepool,” is not based on any genuine legal issues.
Instead, it devolves into the common accusation of “hurt feelings,” which, in truth, is merely a distressed attempt to perpetuate the same manipulated “bully” persona that (Baldoni) constructed and propagated during the retaliatory campaign against Ms. Lively back in August 2024.

In a fiery remark, Reynolds notes that Baldoni’s extensive critique, spanning 179 pages, was ‘rich in exaggerated language’.
In summary, this appears to be a book that serves as a platform for criticisms aimed at Mr. Reynolds, focusing on his ability to empathize with women and support them through tough times.
Reynolds goes on defending Lively, saying he is allowed to stand up for her.
In an astonishing twist, Reynolds utilizes Baldoni’s own public statements as evidence, proving that he openly admits to being a sexual predator.
His statement implies that Baldoni’s words frequently point towards behaviors that a fair onlooker might deem as potentially predatory.
In a 2023 YouTube interview, Baldoni admitted, ‘I’m confident that I overstepped some limits and boundaries during my teenage and early adult years, without giving it a second thought, primarily due to the pornography I was viewing at the time.’
In a 2021 podcast episode titled ‘Man Enough’, Baldoni shared his experiences on masculinity, revealing: ‘I had an addiction to porn starting from age 10. This early exposure shaped the way I perceive the world, creating distinct neural pathways in my brain.’

In a later installment of the podcast, Baldoni confessed, “Since nobody has ever sat us down to explain consent, we typically pick up those lessons from pornography.
As per the report, Baldoni has additionally acknowledged employing forceful language concerning women, including phrases like: ‘Have you shattered that?’ expressing a desire to ‘possess’ them.
According to the records, Baldoni acknowledged that he hadn’t shown the necessary respect to women, whether in social or romantic situations.
In simpler terms, Reynolds argues that although the term ‘predator’ may not have a clear meaning to most people, there is no doubt that Mr. Reynolds’ alleged statements align closely with the actions Mr. Baldoni has openly admitted to in public, such as mistreating women for a significant period of his life due to an addiction to pornography. Additionally, Mr. Reynolds suggests that Mr. Baldoni’s understanding of ‘consent’ in sexual relationships is distorted.
