Ryan Reynolds exploring ideas for Deadpool X-Men movie
It’s said that Ryan Reynolds is looking into concepts for another Deadpool film, which may include X-Men characters.
Following the unprecedented box office triumph of the pairing in Deadpool & Wolverine, setting a new benchmark as the highest-earning R-rated film ever made, it’s looking likely that our mouthy mercenary might return for another thrilling instalment.
As reported by “The Hollywood Reporter”, both the producer and lead actor, Reynolds, are currently developing ideas for a future film that would bring together three to four X-Men characters.

In the upcoming project, Deadpool is included but will mainly take a back seat, enabling the X-Men characters to showcase some unanticipated characteristics.
The possible partnership isn’t connected to the ongoing live-action X-Men film project that Michael Lesslie, known from The Hunger Games, is working on for Marvel Studios.
In the most recent edition of the Deadpool series, it appears that a seamless collaboration between Deadpool and the X-Men might be on the horizon, given that characters like Sabretooth (played by Tyler Mane) and Pyro (portrayed by Aaron Stanford) have been introduced.
For the legendary ensemble, Hugh Jackman once again took on the character of Wolverine; meanwhile, Channing Tatum stepped into the role of Gambit for the first time, having originally been linked to a standalone film that never came to fruition.

Hugh Jackman resurfaced as Wolverine in this epic collaboration, while Channing Tatum got his chance to play Gambit, having previously been associated with a movie centered around him which didn’t come through.
In the upcoming film, “Avengers: Doomsday,” Tatum will make an appearance, alongside actors from the original Fox “X-Men” series, including Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, James Marsden as Cyclops, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, and Rebecca Romijn as Mystique.
Discussing collaboration with both the X-Men and the Avengers, Reynolds stated that such an alliance would bring unexpected outcomes for his character. Previously, he had shared that his character aspires to be acknowledged and valued, but unfortunately, he can’t achieve this acceptance. (The Hollywood Reporter)
As a dedicated admirer, I’ve noticed that his tactic of masking embarrassment with wit serves him well, but it only conceals the numerous areas where he falls short. Should he ever join the ranks of the Avengers or X-Men, it would mark the culmination of his personal evolution.
Deadpool & Wolverine is now streaming on Disney+.
