Ryan Reynolds breaks silence over his bombshell unsealed texts in Blake Lively legal war: ‘What husband wouldn’t support his wife?’

Ryan Reynolds is explaining the strong texts he sent in support of his wife, Blake Lively, while she was involved in a legal dispute with Justin Baldoni.

Okay, so I’ve been following this whole thing, and it’s INSANE. Apparently, messages from Blake Lively’s husband, Ryan Reynolds, were just made public because of her lawsuit against the director of ‘It Ends With Us’. And get this – he actually called the director a ‘dumb-dumb’! I know it sounds silly, but it’s all part of this huge legal battle, and I’m completely hooked. I’ve read every detail and can’t believe the things that are coming out!

The actor’s representative confirmed Ryan’s involvement, stating, ‘Any husband would support his wife and the mother of his children.’ This statement was made to Puck News as part of their report questioning Blake’s employment prospects and whether Ryan could avoid being affected by the controversy.

The representative explained that his wife faced daily sexual harassment and tried to address it privately and respectfully, but she was punished for speaking up.

Actually, Ryan feels he should have been even more upset. He strongly supports the right of his wife and all workers to have a safe work environment, free from harassment and any form of retaliation, and he always will.

Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Baldoni, Reynolds and Lively for comment.

Recently revealed text messages show Reynolds insulted Baldoni, calling him a ‘dumb-dumb,’ and credited Baldoni’s wife with the film It Ends with Us‘s box office success.

Ryan Reynolds said Blake Lively made their weekend incredibly special, sharing this during a conversation with his agent, Warren Zavala, on August 9, 2024. This was around the time the movie ‘It Ends with Us’ had a very successful opening weekend in theaters.

In court filings related to the legal dispute between Lively and Baldoni, Reynolds expressed frustration that the actor-director and those working with him didn’t publicly address the negative reports about disagreements on the movie set that had started appearing.

Ugh, seriously, Baldoni and the rest of them need to address all the rumors! They should be running to confirm or deny everything, just completely owning the speculation right now. It’s driving me crazy that they’re not! They need to just say something, anything, and be totally upfront about it. Now! I’m dying here!
