Ryan Gosling blushes through flirty interview with Grime Gran, 87, as she tells him she’ll be dreaming of them re-enacting steamy scene from The Notebook ‘all night long’

Ryan Gosling became visibly embarrassed during an interview on Thursday with Margie Keefe, a well-known and sometimes controversial figure online, also known as Grime Granny.

While promoting his new science fiction film, Project Hail Mary, the Hollywood actor was interviewed by 87-year-old Keefe, a well-known interviewer who first gained recognition by chatting with up-and-coming grime artists over tea in her London home.

Ryan Gosling, 45, was surprised and touched when a fan confessed she had fallen in love with him while watching ‘The Notebook,’ the moving 2004 film directed by Nick Cassavetes that follows a couple’s relationship over many years.

During an interview on Capital Breakfast, the host asked the actor which scene from The Notebook they would recreate together, revealing she already had a favorite in mind.

‘What would you pick?’ said Gosling. ‘Maybe the dance scene…’ 

Keefe was referencing the iconic scene from the movie where Ryan Gosling’s character, Noah, and Rachel McAdams’ character, Allie, row a boat through a group of geese.

She shared another memorable moment, saying, ‘When it was raining and you kissed me… it was incredible. I’ll be replaying that in my mind all night.’

Ryan Gosling was laughing so hard that director Mark Keefe, who has interviewed stars like Chris Hemsworth and Colin Farrell before, joked that Gosling was probably wondering, “Who is this crazy English woman?”

The actor responded, ‘I can’t believe I haven’t met you before!’ and playfully asked, ‘Is it possible we could just continue like this all day? Could we do all our interviews together from now on?’

He explained that he’s hoping to build a genuine connection, but he doesn’t want to rush things. He’s willing to wait and work to earn it.

‘You wouldn’t have to wait long,’ she said. ‘If I was years younger. Well, I can’t tell you!’ 

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes have been together since 2011. They first met while filming the movie The Place Beyond The Pines, directed by Derek Cianfrance.

The couple are parents to two daughters, Esmeralda, 11, and Amada, nine.

He recently shared that his children inspired his work on Project Hail Mary. He told Access Hollywood that he created the project with his family in mind, wanting to make a film he and they would all enjoy, and he’s proud he was able to do so.

The actor added that his children’s opinions on the film were important to him.

He explained that his children are his primary critics, and they don’t hold back when giving feedback. They’ve seen many versions of his work and always share their honest opinions.

I was so amused to see Keefe’s newest interview! It’s happening right after she totally threw Kim Kardashian for a loop with a question about… jacket potatoes! Seriously, who asks Kim Kardashian about jacket potatoes? It was hilarious!

Kim Kardashian recently gave an interview with Sarah Paulson for Capital Radio, and things got a little strange when the interviewer, Keefe, asked her about a well-known British food.

“You really love jacket potatoes, don’t you?” she asked. Paulson immediately started laughing, and a confused Kardashian responded, “Who?”

‘I don’t know what that is,’ she continued.

Paulson wondered, ‘What exactly is a jacket potato?’ Keefe explained it’s simply a potato baked with its skin on. Kardashian chimed in, enthusiastically agreeing, ‘I love those!’
