Over the past 22 years, the camp on I’m A Celebrity… has never experienced such severe rain as it did this time, leading to flooding up to three meters deep that created havoc. The torrential downpour washed away access to the Jungle, leaving the entrance submerged under cascading water.

For decades, the show’s veteran presenter, Ant McPartlin (age 49), expressed: “The rain today has been exceptionally harsh; I believe it might be the most severe rain we’ve encountered while hosting this program.

‘It was touch and go, we nearly didn’t make it into the camp.’

Declan Donnelly displayed video clips captured with his phone, which depicted their vehicle facing difficulties crossing the bridge leading to the campsite due to water flowing over it.

After playfully hinting about a possible comeback to This Morning, Ruth landed at Brisbane Airport on a Thursday.

ITV arranged for Ruth to travel since she has a strong relationship with fellow campmates Jane Moore (aged 62) and collaborates with GK Barry (age 25) on the Loose Women panel, making her trip necessary.

It seems Ruth might be considering coming back to the show, as Martin Frizell is leaving “This Morning.

On a Wednesday, it emerged that the long-standing figure at ITV, aged 65, decided to resign following a decade of leadership, in order to spend significantly more time with his wife Fiona Phillips, who is currently battling Alzheimer’s disease at the age of 63.

But commenting on whether she would now return to This Morning, Ruth said: ‘Never say never.’

Following Philip Schofield’s departure after a relationship with a younger female coworker, his position alongside Holly Willoughby has been taken over by Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley.

Regarding the significant changes on the program, Ruth mentioned that since she hasn’t been involved for the past two years, she doesn’t pay it much heed.

The mother-of-one also confirmed she would ‘never’ appear in the jungle.

In 1999, both Ruth and Jane started appearing on the Loose Women panel. Later in 2013, Ruth took over as the main anchor, while Jane continued as a permanent member of the panel.

Ruth took to Instagram on Tuesday to share she was busy packing her case before flying to Oz.

Earlier this month, The Sun was informed that joining the spin-off series provided Ruth with a pleasant diversion amidst a difficult year after her separation from Eamonn.

According to the source, it’s been quite challenging for Ruth this past year, but she’s been doing her utmost to stay positive. She’s excited beyond words to be given the opportunity to join the spin-off series and travel to Australia before Christmas.

An insider mentioned that Ruth is excited to back Jane, expressing that she’s “thrilled about Jane and can hardly wait to share her thoughts on how things are going for her.

The production team is thrilled that they’ve managed to get Ruth on board, as they believe her talent will make a tremendous impact and enhance their fresh concept.

Eammon has since moved on after the split with relationship counsellor Katie Alexander, 43.

At The Irish Post Awards, Eammon and Katie were seen for the first time as a pair, but Eammon, the previous Good Morning Britain host, asked photographers to avoid snapping photos of them together.

A bystander commented: ‘It appears that Katie has the ability to bring a smile back to Eamonn’s face, and they truly seem smitten with one another.’

Katie, who had an enchanting sea voyage with the television personality earlier this year, has shared with her friends that she’s committed to a long-term relationship with Eamonn.
