Ruth Langsford burst into laughter while showcasing her clothing line on QVC this week, after a playful comment made her giggle uncontrollably.
The 65-year-old presenter was surprised when her colleague, Jackie Kabler, playfully asked if she’d ever made a thumbhole in a sweater sleeve while they were looking at one.
Ruth was surprised and exclaimed she’d initially thought it was a prank. She added that she’d never tried making a thumbhole before, which made both of them laugh.
Jackie did her best to keep things going, but Ruth became overwhelmed with emotion and had to hide her tears from the camera.
They kept saying ‘thumbhole,’ which only made the Loose Women star laugh harder, until she was doubled over with tears.
Things eventually escalated to the point where QVC’s Jackie had to pause the show. Ruth was visibly upset, wiping away tears that had smeared her mascara.

Ruth’s recent energetic TV appearance follows a Daily Mail report detailing how things have changed for her ex-partner, Eamonn Holmes, 65, and his girlfriend, Katie Alexander, 43. They previously enjoyed luxurious vacations, including a Mediterranean cruise.
A friend told Katie Kind, a Consultant Editor, that the couple’s relationship is facing difficulties, adding that the initial excitement seems to have faded.
He’s become increasingly irritable, and his ongoing back pain isn’t making things easier. Instead of building a life with Katie, he’s been traveling to Belfast to spend time with his family, often leaving her behind.
‘The lavish gifts and the swanky holidays don’t seem to have made him any happier
Several of Eamonn’s coworkers at GB News shared a similar view, describing him as consistently negative. One colleague jokingly called him ‘a miserable goat, even when things are going well’.
‘He goes into GB News in the morning, and he moans and moans,’ the colleague said.
He’s really struggling at the moment and is feeling down. The only thing that seems to lift his spirits is going to work, which he genuinely enjoys.
The Daily Mail previously reported that the broadcaster, who has four children, had a major disagreement with his youngest son, Niall, age 32, from his first marriage to Gabrielle.

To make matters worse, Niall has taken his stepmother Ruth’s side in the fallout from her split with his father.
Jack, age 23 and son of Eamonn and Ruth, is reportedly supporting his mother in this situation.
Eamonn has two children from his first marriage: Declan, age 36, and Rebecca, age 34. He remains close to both of them.
Ruth and Eamonn revealed a year ago that they were separating after being together for 27 years, including 14 years of marriage.
Reports suggest Eamonn and Katie first connected twelve years ago, allegedly through playful messages they sent to each other.
Reports indicate that a year before their separation, Ruth discovered Eamonn had been giving Katie gifts.
Both Eamonn and Katie, who were both previously married, maintain that their relationship didn’t begin until after their respective marriages had ended.
Eamonn’s family is reportedly very unhappy that the couple are still together.
