Russell T Davies issues major warning to Doctor Who fans ahead of new episode
The showrunner of the popular series, Doctor Who, Russell T Davies, has given a significant alert to viewers in anticipation of the upcoming science fiction episode.
The sixth episode of Season 15, airing tomorrow on BBC One before the Eurovision Grand Final, is an exciting journey themed around the Interstellar Song Contest – a fitting Eurovision-inspired event where planets from different corners of the universe battle it out to win the crown.

On Instagram, Davies posted a snapshot from the show featuring Ncuti Gatwa’s Doctor apparently unconscious and drifting in space.
In the title, the program creator advised viewers intending to watch the episode later on iPlayer to stay away from social media to dodge significant spoilers since it’s being released at 8am.
He mentioned, “You won’t believe it until you witness it, but here’s how the doctor will extricate himself from this predicament – tomorrow! That’s when the Intergalactic Music Competition takes place.
Take note, when this program airs on iPlayer at 8am, there will be plenty of spoilers circulating. If you prefer to watch it later in the day or evening, I’d advise avoiding online activity to steer clear of potential spoilers.
Previously, it had been established that Graham Norton, known for his role as the BBC’s TV commentator for the Eurovision Song Contest since 2009, is set to make an appearance in the upcoming episode. Davies noted that this won’t be just a brief appearance.
Last month, he expressed that our studios in Cardiff wouldn’t have had a song contest without the remarkable man himself – none other than Graham Norton. It was a privilege to have him grace our studios.
Not only does he make a brief appearance, but his character plays a significant role in an unexpected turn of events! This episode takes the cake for being the most thrilling one yet, and it’s fantastic to see Graham contributing to the chaos.
In addition to the regular cast, this episode will feature special appearances from Charlie Condou known for “Unforgotten”, Kadiff Kirwan and Freddie Fox who star in “Slow Horses”, Miriam-Teak Lee, and Rylan Clark.
Previously, Rylan expressed that the opportunity to be part of Doctor Who was something he’d long aspired for.
He mentioned that the upcoming episode combines everything I love about the series, plus a space-themed song competition. He expressed his excitement, saying it’s like a dream come true and cannot wait for viewers to enjoy it. He believes it will truly take things to another level, or in other words, it will be extraordinary.
