Rupert Grint Secretly Welcomes Second Baby—Meet Goldie G. and See the Adorable First Photo

Actor Rupert Grint, famously known for his role in Harry Potter, recently posted the initial image of his newly born baby, marking the arrival of his second child with partner Georgia Groome. This joyous event had been kept confidential until now.

36-year-old actor known for his role as Ron Weasley in the magical films shared a post on Instagram on Sunday, presenting the newborn – named Goldie G. Grint.

Referencing the unexpected news of their newborn, Rupert playfully penned “A Hint About Our Secret Offspring” as his caption, additionally acknowledging the medical professional who assisted with the delivery.

In this picture, we can see a child, whose gender is still unknown, resting surrounded by a leopard-patterned coat, with part of their face hidden.

They’re wearing a white onesie with their name printed on the front, accompanied by a gray knit cardigan.

In a heartfelt message, Rupert titled his post as: “A Hidden Truth Unveiled – Meet Goldie G. Grint 🌟 She’s a Perfect 10 (and counting!)

‘Shout out to @alex.digesu for always delivering.’

Rupert’s comment implies that the same medical professional who is currently attending to him was likely the one who delivered his and Georgia’s firstborn daughter, Wednesday, who joined their family five years ago.

The actor’s announcement sparked numerous heartfelt congratulations from fans, who often mentioned his iconic character while praising the arrival of another “Weasley” in the making.

On Sunday, it was disclosed that the couple had their second child; this was evident when Rupert and Georgia were seen taking a leisurely walk in Hampstead, accompanied by their toddler, whose image was captured by The Sun.

The pair walked down the street in relaxed attire, with Rupert concealing his well-known characteristics under an umbrella of shadow and a baseball hat.

In a gentle rotation, he along with Georgia, would tenderly hold the tiny child, who seemed to possess his father’s crimson locks.

TopMob have contacted Rupert’s reps for comment at the time.

Since 2011, Rupert and his co-star Georgia, known for her part in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, have managed to maintain their relationship largely away from the spotlight.

In a 2021 conversation with Glamour, the actor mentioned Georgia casually, stating: “We’re almost like two peas in a pod – we’re extremely close friends. Our thoughts and personalities seem to align.

1. “What’s kept it going all this time is its effectiveness. That’s why it’s still around. It’s tricky to identify the specific reason, but it functions well and it’s excellent.”

2. “Its longevivity can be attributed to its consistent functionality. That’s why it’s managed to survive. It’s tough to isolate what makes it work, but it gets the job done and it’s terrific.”

3. “Its durability is due to its reliable performance over time. That’s why it’s endured. It’s challenging to pinpoint the key factor, but it performs admirably and it’s fantastic.”

4. “It’s been around for so long because it consistently functions well. That’s what has kept it going. It’s hard to pin down why it works so well, but it does and it’s great.”

5. “Its resilience is due to its consistent effectiveness over the years. That’s why it’s managed to persist. It’s tough to say what makes it work so effectively, but it does and it’s excellent.”

Rupert was the first of the core three Potter child stars to become a parent.

In May 2020, they happily ushered their little girl into the world on a Wednesday. Exactly half a year later, Rupert decided to share her name with the world by joining Instagram.

Rupert posted next to a heartwarming photo of him hugging his little daughter: “Hello Instagram community…a decade overdue, but here I am now. Here’s Grint on the Gram! Let me introduce you all to Wednesday Grace Grint. Stay safe everyone, Rupert.” (sic)

In April 2023, Daniel Radcliffe’s fellow actor, who is also his co-star, had his first child with his longtime partner, Erin Drake. The joyous event marked the beginning of fatherhood for him.

On the day after Wednesday’s birth, Rupert Grint confessed his apprehensions as a first-time dad, revealing that he frequently checks on her breathing while she sleeps.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight back in 2021, he shared, “I won’t delve deep, but the initial night was absolutely petrifying. I couldn’t get a wink of sleep, just spending the entire time making sure she was still breathing.

For me personally, getting to sleep has been quite challenging over the years. As a child, I remember being told frequently that people often die in their sleep, which made me perceive sleep as something potentially very risky and unsafe.

Additionally, he expressed that fatherhood to the child he co-parents with actress Georgia is what truly matters to him, and it has significantly altered his outlook on life.

Becoming a father has significantly shifted my outlook on life. As I took on the role midway through, it’s given me a deeper understanding of the impact it can have on a family. The thought of such a level of loss that comes with it is now unimaginable to me.

Rupert remains silent following J.K. Rowling’s public celebration of a significant Supreme Court decision, which states that transgender women are not recognized as women in law.

As a devoted fan, I’ve noticed that actors like Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe, and Emma Watson, who have publicly expressed their views on gender identity, have yet to comment directly on their individual stances regarding this topic.

Last week, judges in London decided that within the context of the 2010 Equality Act, the term ‘women’ refers exclusively to those who are biologically female.

The judge, Lord Hodge, urged both sides not to view the decision as a cause for triumph, however, those involved in the gender-critical campaigns have hailed it as a win.

Wealthy author J.K. Rowling, rumored to have contributed financially to a women’s rights organization that took their case to the Supreme Court, posted a picture online from her luxurious $150 million yacht while enjoying a cigar as a sign of victory.

She told her 14.3million followers on X, formerly Twitter: ‘I love it when a plan comes together.’

Despite extensively voicing her opinions on social media regarding the recent Supreme Court ruling, it’s been observed that stars who appeared in the hit film versions of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter novels have remained relatively quiet on this matter.

Daniel, Emma, and Rupert have expressed their backing for the concept of gender identity – specifically, recognizing individuals who are biologically male but identify as women, according to their self-perception.

Each of them has spoken out against J.K. Rowling’s stance on the matter, yet they remain appreciative for her part in furthering their professional journeys.

Last month, it seemed like the author was taking a playful dig at some people, as evident when she posted a reply on her X account to a question posed by another user: “Who is that one actor or actress who makes a film unwatchable for you?

Rowling wrote: ‘Three guesses. Sorry, but that was irresistible.’

She had expressed back in April of the previous year that she would never forgive Radcliffe and Watson, as she condemned celebrities who she believed had aligned with a movement aiming to undermine women’s rights that they had worked so hard to achieve.

During that instance, the wealthy novelist criticized celebrities for supporting the transition of minors, as expressed through their platforms, following the publication of the highly anticipated Cass report examining gender care practices in the United Kingdom.
