Independent studio Zockrates Laboratories has shared that their hand-drawn 3D platformer game titled “Ruffy and the Riverside” is set to release in June.
In “Ruffy and the Riverside,” you’ll harness the enchanting ability known as ‘SWAP’, which allows you to transfer textures within the game environment. This means you can transform ice into molten lava, waterfalls into vines, and much more! You’ll also find yourself bouncing on hay bales, solving intriguing puzzles, engaging in combat with enemies, and delving deep into Riverside’s expansive world. The game offers a unique blend of 3D and 2D experiences, allowing you to leap out of the three-dimensional realm and into two-dimensional levels, then back again.
In addition to the main storyline, there are also side missions and obstacles to conquer, as well as magical artifacts to amass scattered throughout seven distinct areas. The adventure titled “Ruffy and the Riverside” will be available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC on June 26th.
