As I delve into the captivating narrative of Roxy Jacenko, a woman who has defied the norms and carved her own path, I am struck by her indomitable spirit and relentless pursuit of success. Her life journey is a testament to the power of determination, resilience, and an unquenchable thirst for adventure.

Roxy Jacenko is back in Sydney and back at work.

On a Saturday in Sydney’s Double Bay, the skilled PR professional, aged 44, enjoyed an early Christmas meal with her team.

Her Ministry of Talent team companions were also present, receiving presents from the high-end store, Hermès.

Roxy appeared captivating, flaunting her 15-kilo weight reduction elegantly in a sleek black mini dress adorned with detailing at the waist.

She accessorized with a short, sparkly necklace and wore high heels featuring intricate chain details.

She opted for a perfect makeup style, featuring a gentle pink blush and a subtle lip gloss, complementing her long, flowing blonde hair cascading over her shoulders.

Additionally, the team was seen carrying sacks from the cosmetics store Mecca, whereas Roxy personally handled a Tom Ford shopping bag.

In September 2023, the prominent figure known as the “PR queen” announced that she was back in the spotlight of public relations, having returned to Sydney, following a two-year hiatus since resigning from her position as director at Sweaty Betty.

Lately, it’s become evident that she wasn’t meant for traditional homemaking roles; instead, managing six businesses comes more naturally to her.

She shared with Daily Mail Australia that, due to her lifelong habit of working, transitioning back to work was almost unavoidable for her because she had never known anything else.

Instead of attempting to retire, I found myself restless. You see, I’m more than just a businessperson; I’m an entrepreneur at heart. Sitting at home with tennis games and extended meals wasn’t going to satisfy my spirit for very long!

I make a bi-monthly trip to Sydney. Despite the 7-hour distance, the minimal 3-hour time difference makes it quite convenient for me. It’s not only effortless but also delightful to reconnect with my mother Doreen and friends during these visits. Additionally, being in an office environment again offers a sense of normalcy.

Roxy continued by explaining that although she stepped down as a PR representative, she remained active as the head of her digital agency, The Ministry of Talent.

She manages some of the nation’s top digital influencers, yet by 2pm my workday is over. My companions and I often tease that I accomplish in a couple of hours what others would do in a day, which suggests going back to PR means I’ll be pushed again and working around the clock, she remarked.

‘I get a rush doing it. It’s not for everyone but it works for me… it’s fulfilling! Suppose it’s like my hobby!’

She praised stay-at-home mothers, as she herself had done it for six months, and admitted that it must undoubtedly be one of the toughest jobs.

She expressed her feelings to The Sunday Telegraph by saying, “There’s absolutely nothing to do here in Singapore, nothing at all. Domestic duties don’t appeal to me. To put it frankly, I’ve shopped until I can’t shop any more.

‘Yes, Ministry of Talent ticks along and I work on that every day, but it’s not enough.

I have more time left in my day than I know what to do with, as these high-end brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Prada are not open for extended periods.

Roxy made headlines back in September when she announced she was relaunching Sweaty Betty PR.

At that point, Roxy informed Daily Mail Australia that she was coming back to Sweaty Betty PR and would be welcoming some chosen clients again.

‘Discovering how to take a break from work and appreciate life more has been fulfilling, yet at times it can feel incredibly dull!’

‘I wasn’t cut out for the housewife life!’

Later on, I subtly hinted at my upcoming venture to my cherished Instagram community, making it a point to keep them in the loop of my exciting journey ahead.

The photo showed Roxy’s hand on the driving wheel of her car with her WhatsApp messages visible on her open laptop.

In her post from November 2022, she expressed that she had made the decision to leave Public Relations. She humorously suggested it might have been a mid-life crisis… lol. However, today she’s back and it feels just like old times!

‘I have worked since I was 14-years-old,’ Roxy continued.

‘It’s all I know and to be frank, I’m good at it, so it’s time to get going again.

‘My family and I will primarily reside in Singapore, but I plan to spend about a week each month at my office in Double Bay, Sydney. Given the minimal 2-hour time difference, working effectively from Singapore when not in Sydney is quite manageable.’

In the year 2023, Roxy embarked on a journey to Singapore alongside her family, determined that their future would not involve a return trip to Sydney.

She previously informed Daily Mail Australia that she has no intentions of returning. Unfortunately, she shared this news.

I really enjoy Australia, let me clarify. The ability to gaze upon the ocean is truly a delight, but what I adore most is the proximity to various destinations.

‘Since being in Singapore, I’ve travelled to Thailand, to Vietnam and to India.

In Australia, we’re quite isolated from everything else. Suddenly, my life has taken on a vibrant new hue. Now, I have the opportunity to discover new places and engage in diverse activities.
