On August 16 (Friday night), Blake O’Donnell, the youngest son of the actress and comedian, tied the knot with his long-term partner Teresa Garofalow Westervelt during a wedding ceremony.
At that exact instant, the newlyweds shared a kiss, symbolizing their union, while the groom’s beaming mother watched closely by his side.
Instead of documenting, she captured the family’s memorable event by posting a string of photos showcasing the newlyweds and their attendees on her Instagram account, featuring ‘The O’Donnell’s First Dance.’
The photo shows Blake all decked out in a white blazer with black slacks as he has his arm around his new wife’s waist during the tradition ‘first dance’ of a wedding.
Regarding the bride, she donned a traditional white wedding dress featuring long sleeves, and it had a train with a bustle at the back. As they embarked on their initial journey as a married couple, this was part of the attire they wore.
Rosie O’Donnell expressed her fondness for ’80s culture by stepping in as the bride’s stand-in, allowing them to share a heartwarming mother-son dance together on the dance floor.
As it happened, they chose to commemorate that memorable occasion with the timeless tune “Time After Time,” a hit by Cyndi Lauper from 1983.

To complete her wedding ensemble, Rosie accessorized with a pair of softly hued shoes, and she opted for a chic, short hairstyle, styled to fall above her ears, with a side parting adding a touch of elegance.
Without a doubt, the first dance was reserved for the newlyweds, who shared a tender moment as they held onto one another, their arms draped around each other. The audience looked on, many with teary eyes.
Since it was announced on Thursday that they were getting married, O’Donnell has been sharing updates about their upcoming wedding festivities.
“Rosie excitedly announced on a selfie that she and Blake will be tying the knot in the morning, using the hashtags: ‘#Blake’, ‘#Teresa’ and ‘#Family.'”
Apart from sharing a collection of chosen snapshots taken during the rehearsal dinner, Rosie will also share an image depicting the bride walking down the aisle with a little girl in hand.

He expressed, ‘It’s such great fortune for me to have found a remarkable person to fall in love with. Late anniversary sweetheart.’
In 1995, Parker, who was then 29 years old, became part of the O’Donnell family, making him the first member to join. The family also consists of Chelsea (age 26), Blake (age 24), Vivienne (age 21), and Dakota (age 11).
