Rosamund Pike makes a rare appearance with son Atom, 11, as they attend star-studded NBA game at London’s O2

Rosamund Pike and her youngest son, Atom, went to the NBA’s London Game on Sunday at the O2 Arena, where they watched the Memphis Grizzlies play against the Orlando Magic.

The 46-year-old actress, nominated for an Oscar, looked happy and relaxed while out and about. She is a mother to two sons: 14-year-old Solo and 11-year-old Atom, and is partnered with Robie Uniacke, 65.

Rosamund looked stylish in a black trench coat, belted at the waist and completed with sunglasses and a cream-colored leather handbag.

Atom sat by the basketball court wearing a bright Adidas tracksuit, and his proud mother couldn’t stop smiling next to him.

Supermodel Leomie Anderson, rapper Aitch, and actress Naomi Ackie were among the celebrities spotted in the VIP section.

Late last year, Rosamund seemed to accidentally reveal that she and her partner of sixteen years, Robie, had secretly married, after calling him her ‘husband’.

The London-born celebrity was seen wearing a silver ring on her ring finger while in Paris for Fashion Week. She was photographed walking through the city wearing jeans and a dark blazer.

The speculation surrounding Rosamund Pike’s relationship intensified at the New York premiere of ‘Now You See Me: Now You Don’t.’ She initially appeared to be wearing a ring on her ring finger during photos, but later moved it to her middle finger.

He has several children: sons with Rosamund, a son with his former wife Emma Howard, and three children with his current wife, interior designer Rose Uniacke.

Before she married Robie in 2009 and found lasting happiness, Rosamund experienced two important relationships that made her hesitant about marriage.

Her first romantic relationship was with actor Simon Woods, whom she met while they were both students at Oxford University. They dated for two years, but eventually separated when Simon realized he was gay. He later married Christopher Bailey, who used to be the CEO of Burberry, and they built a life together.

Shortly after, she fell for Atonement and Darkest Hour director Joe Wright.

The pair became engaged in 2007 after meeting on the set of Pride & Prejudice in 2005 and bought a home together – but the relationship crumbled while planning the wedding.

The London Lions’ CEO welcomes the possibility of the NBA expanding to the UK, especially with plans for a new European league. However, they caution that attending games might be expensive, as the experience will be positioned as a high-end offering.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has publicly discussed his idea for expanding the league into Europe. This vision is highlighted by Sunday’s game in London, where popular teams like the Orlando Magic and Memphis Grizzlies are competing.

I was absolutely gutted! Tickets for the game were going for anything from £200 to a crazy £1,000 just hours before it started at the O2. Seriously, £1,000?! And to see legends like Thierry Henry, Virgil van Dijk, Marcelo, and even Declan Rice there just made it worse. It’s the tenth time the league has come to Britain, and honestly, it felt like they were pricing real fans like me out of seeing the best play. It just wasn’t fair!

The league is likely to become well-established in Britain, with plans for a European league gaining momentum. Teams from London and Manchester are expected to join a 16-team division that could launch as early as 2027.

Okay, so I’ve been following Lester Silver for ages, and it’s AMAZING what he’s doing for British basketball! Last summer, he was meeting with the Prime Minister and the Mayor of London – can you believe it?! – talking about getting more money into the sport at the local level. But get this: he’s not stopping there. He’s totally seeing how basketball is blowing up across Europe and wants to use the energy from football – like, really tap into that culture. He’s already been talking to some HUGE clubs – Man City, Man United, PSG, Real Madrid, Barcelona – trying to figure out how to bring that same level of excitement to basketball. I’m telling you, this is going to be massive!

Lenz Balan, the CEO and president of the London Lions – currently leading the Super League Basketball (SLB), which took over from the former British Basketball League (BBL) – says now is the most thrilling period ever for basketball in the UK.
