Ronnie Wood’s son, Tyrone, is emulating his renowned father by embarking on a safari adventure for his unconventional honeymoon with his wife, fellow rock aristocrat Faye Harris.

41-year-old art merchant, who wed the captivating daughter of Iron Maiden’s bassist Steve Harris in a glamorous event at Marylebone Old Town Hall the previous summer, has recently embarked on a wild animal experience in Botswana.

Over the weekend, Faye, aged 34, posted a sequence of Instagram tales, offering a peek at her extraordinary vacation experience that won’t happen again.

During their visit, the pair encountered elephants, hippos, and lions, and even joined a sunset gathering in the wilderness with beverages.

As I was attempting to unwind, an unexpected encounter with a lion made my heart race – it casually strolled across our path.

She said that he had darted around 3 meters ahead of their vehicle, then settled down nearby, and she was illustrating this with a picture she took of the lion camouflaged among the grass close to them.

In another posting, there was a scene displaying a group of elephants feeding alongside their offspring, whereas an early morning journey led to an encounter with a massive elephant standing near the outskirts of their campsite.

The affectionate pair has been relishing local biltong, a type of air-dried and cured meat, and celebrating their new marital status with gin and tonics on the hood of their safari vehicle.

At sunset, the duo were captured standing by a lagoon, with Faye sporting khaki pants and a green headscarf, while Tyrone donned cargo shorts and boots.

Tyrone’s journey mirrors his father’s, 78-year-old Ronnie Wood from The Rolling Stones, who has frequently traveled to Africa due to his deep affection for safaris and his active advocacy for wildlife preservation.

Last month, the well-experienced rock musician and artist created an impressive sea turtle statue as part of the Tusk Turtle Trail in London, a community art project that aims to increase attention and financial support for marine preservation efforts.

In a city setting, a series of turtle statues, crafted by Ronnie and other famous personalities, were exhibited as part of an event arranged by Prince William’s Tusk Trust. After making their public debut, these sculptures were put up for auction to support the organization’s noble cause.

Ronnie commended Prince William for his profound understanding and deep dedication towards the topic, and furthermore, expressed that they both believe passionately that future generations, including our children, should be able to witness the natural beauty of the Earth’s wildlife much as we have.

Back in 2023, I embarked on a memorable safari adventure in the beautiful landscapes of Kenya to celebrate my beloved’s special milestone – Sally turning 45. Our charming twin daughters, Alice and Gracie, who were then nine years old, accompanied us on this unforgettable journey.

Tyrone, who’s associated with high-profile models such as Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Poppy Delevingne, and Daisy Lowe, is the son of Ronnie, born from his marriage to ex-model Jo Wood.

He serves as the head of Project Zero, a marine conservation non-profit organization that Princess Eugenie supports as an ambassador.

In 2022, there were first reports that he was connected to Faye, and they got married in July 2024 at a ceremony where both of their well-known families were present. Notable attendees included Ronnie, Jo, and Steve Harris (age 68), as well as Tyrone’s half-brother Jessie, who came with his wife Fearne Cotton before they split up a few months later.

On her wedding day, the bride captivated everyone in a stylish, short white Bardot dress, adorned with a delicate netted veil. Meanwhile, Tyrone chose to wear a traditional suit.
