Ronnie Wood and Bryan Adams surprised and thrilled wedding guests with an energetic performance at the opulent wedding of Rob Steele, a wealthy CEO with both American and Canadian citizenship.
I was so thrilled to hear that Steele, the owner of Steele Auto Group and a really successful businessman worth over $10 million, finally tied the knot with his partner, Mary Beth! They had a beautiful, romantic wedding in Austin last weekend, and I couldn’t be happier for them both.
A dazzling group of friends, people from within the industry, and several famous musicians joined them.
Even people familiar with the glamorous world surrounding Steele were surprised when rock icon Ronnie Wood, 78, and singer Bryan Adams, 66, unexpectedly performed together on stage.
I was at the reception, and honestly, it was incredible! Everyone was talking about when The Chicks joined the performers for a set that was just… unbelievable. Seriously, it was a jaw-dropping moment – a true all-star collaboration that I’ll never forget!
Social media posts reveal Woody and Adam playing music together. Wood is seen with a light green Telecaster guitar, and Adam with his acoustic guitar, as they perform well-known songs, including Adam’s hit ‘Summer of ’69’.
When they arrived, the reception immediately felt like a small, private music festival, set within a stunningly decorated marquee filled with flowers.
Even the wedding planners, Pearl Events Austin, shared on Instagram that it was “A wedding we will never forget!”
For decades, Steele has been building a successful automotive business with dealerships and luxury car operations throughout the United States. He’s known as a well-connected person who is very loyal to those closest to him.
People who know him describe him as incredibly charismatic and naturally attract others. This was clear at his wedding, where guests traveled from all over the country and even from overseas to celebrate with him for the entire weekend.
Wood attended the event with his wife, Sally, a 47-year-old theatre producer, who wore a striking floral dress.
The couple fully embraced the Texas atmosphere, even going to a country wedding with cowboy hats.

Sally shared a photo from the wedding, featuring herself and Wood standing with the happy couple – Steele and his new wife, who looked beautiful in a classic white dress.
Michael Wekerle, a Canadian businessman and former panelist on Dragons’ Den, who has been friends with Steele for many years, also posted pictures from the event.
One photo shows him standing with Wood next to a stone fountain, both wearing sunglasses. He captioned it: ‘Such a great weekend in Austin celebrating my dear friend Rob and his wedding to the lovely Mary Beth.’

Even with his busy schedule with The Rolling Stones, Ronnie Wood seemed happy and at ease as he chatted with guests, took pictures, and eventually played a lively set on stage.
Adams seemed completely at home on stage, relaxed, smiling, and naturally charming as he played his guitar.
The Texas-based band, The Chicks, were a big hit with the audience, performing a strong and impressive set that made the event even more spectacular.
The event took place at a large estate in Austin, beautifully decorated with flowers and lights. A large tent was set up as the stage.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen a lot of weddings, but this one truly stood out! Everyone enjoyed dinner outside, and when the entertainment started, the energy was incredible.
