Ronnie Wood, 77, is supported by glamorous wife Sally, 46, as he launches an exhibition of his artwork – after raking in more than £1million in one year through his paintings
As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for art and music, I must say that Ronnie Wood is an inspiring figure who embodies the spirit of creativity and resilience. At 77, he continues to push boundaries, both as a musician and an artist, proving that age is indeed just a number.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I found myself accompanied by my stunning spouse, Sally, at a captivating gallery opening in the heart of London last night.
The famous Rolling Stones member strolled side by side with Sally as they unveiled a personal art exhibit at the Andrew Martin store, situated on Walton Street in Chelsea.
77-year-old Ronnie cut an impressive figure in a well-tailored black suit and pristine white dress shirt, charming passersby prior to entering the building.
While Sally, aged 46, was there to lend her support, she drew attention in a stylish floral minidress, paired with sheer black tights and traditional black heels.
Outside of his work with The Rolling Stones, Wood has garnered praise and amassed some wealth due to his ardor for the arts.
Last year, the artist earned an impressive sum of over one million pounds from his paintings, as documented in financial reports filed in 2023, which showed a staggering profit of approximately £1,437,277.
Back in the swingin’ sixties, I found my artistic flair blooming like a vibrant flower at Ealing Art College, sharing the same hallowed ground with none other than the legendary Freddie Mercury and Pete Townshend – two shining stars of their time!
After finding fame, Ronnie picked up a paint brush again in the 80s.
He previously said: ‘When I am painting, I lose track of time. I get engrossed. It’s great’.
In March 2023, one of his works was revealed, showcasing The Rolling Stones, including the late drummer Charlie Watts, playing on a bustling Havana street.
Sharing on Instagram, he posted: ‘Check out Ronnie’s latest artwork featuring The Rolling Stones – it captures them on a bustling Havana street. Charlie is striking a rhythm on a Cuban drum, Mick is dancing exuberantly, and Darryl is tossing his hat in the air!’
The artwork showcases the influence and energization the band experienced from the vibrant Havana music culture and Cuban people during the period when they performed an astonishing free concert for more than half a million people.
The painting from March 25, 2016 depicts the setlist of the free concert performed by the band in Cuba, a performance that was recorded for the movie “Havana Moon.
The Rolling Stones released the 24th studio album in October, to huge success.
Hackney Diamonds went straight in at number one – the 11th time the band have achieved this feat.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’m thrilled to share that my latest release has been swiftly categorized among the top five best-selling albums of the year! Not only that, but it’s also soaring as the third most streamed album on Apple Music. It’s an incredible feeling knowing that my music is resonating with so many people around the world.
This week’s midweek chart for the top 100 singles features six songs from the latest album: Angry, Sweet Sounds of Heaven, Get Close, Bite My Head Off, Depending on You, and Mess it Up.
