Romeo Beckham’s girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, celebrated her father’s recent knighthood with him on Tuesday. Her father is a well-known DJ.

Twenty-four-year-old model and DJ Alexa Turnbull, who was born in London, and her father, Alex Turnbull, DJ’d together publicly for the first time at the launch event for the John Lewis 2025 Christmas ad, held at Cafe KOKO.

Kim’s father, Alex, is a highly respected DJ in London and pioneered the UK hip-hop scene by founding Ronin Records, one of the country’s first labels dedicated to the genre.

He comes from a family with a strong artistic background, being the son of Kim Lim, who was born in Singapore, and William Turnbull, who was born in Scotland – both well-known artists after World War II.

A father and daughter shared a special moment, posing for photos together behind the DJ equipment during their first performance as a team. Meanwhile, the daughter’s boyfriend, Romeo, spent the day with his family celebrating his father David receiving his knighthood.

Kim attended the John Lewis event wearing a fitted brown halter top and black knitted capri pants.

She completed her outfit with a black pinstripe blazer and shiny stiletto heels. She added a bold silver chain necklace and a quilted handbag to finish the look.

Her dad looked fashionable in a white cardigan with a design, paired with beige cargo pants and a brown teddy coat.

Singer Alison Limerick also attended the event, and she sparkled in a silver, glittery dress.

Alison wore a wrap dress with a boat neck. She completed the look with sparkly black tights and platform heels.

She took photos with DJ Fat Tony, who was wearing a dark denim outfit, and actress Jaime Winstone.

Jaime wore a sleek, black pinstripe maxi dress with a high neckline, completing the look with a fitted, black Breton cap.

Clara Amfo, one of the show’s presenters, also arrived looking stylish in a shimmering, ruched brown dress with short, capped sleeves.

Oh my gosh, you guys, Kim was DJing last night, and it was EVERYTHING! But it was extra special because Romeo and Cruz were sharing the sweetest stuff about their dad getting knighted! They were just gushing about how amazing he is, and honestly, it made my heart melt. It was like a perfect little family moment, and I lived for it! I’m seriously obsessed with this family!

The King awarded a knighthood to the retired footballer at Windsor Castle, recognizing his contributions to both sports and charitable work. His sons were quick to congratulate him.

It was so lovely to see a family photo shared by Romeo! David was being honored, and it was wonderful to see him celebrating with Victoria and their three youngest – Romeo, Cruz, and little Harper. It really warmed my heart!

Romeo shared a photo with the caption, ‘You truly deserve all the good things coming your way, I love you so much! Congratulations, Dad!’

David and Victoria Beckham’s oldest son, Brooklyn, and his wife Nicola Peltz were noticeably absent from the recent celebrations, and haven’t commented on it publicly on social media.

Although the Los Angeles-based couple might have been asleep during David’s important event in the UK, a lack of social media acknowledgement would simply be the newest issue in what’s been a long period of family disagreements.

When his father received news of his knighthood in the spring, Brooklyn didn’t offer any congratulations, either in person or online. In contrast, his two other sons excitedly shared the news on social media.

Victoria recently posted a tribute to her husband, describing him as kind, humble, and hardworking. She wrote that David has always taken great pride in representing his country, ever since she first met him 28 years ago.

I truly cherish seeing you recognized by The King today, because no one has more love for England or greater respect for the Royal Family than you do, both on and off the field.

Even with all your accomplishments, you’re still the same wonderful, down-to-earth, and dedicated person I first met almost 30 years ago. You’re also a truly incredible husband and father.
