Romeo Beckham leads birthday tributes to mum Victoria as Posh Spice celebrates her 52nd birthday as son Cruz’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel says how ‘lucky’ they are ‘to be surrounded by her kindness’

Romeo Beckham was among the first to wish his mother, Victoria Beckham, a happy 52nd birthday on Friday.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve noticed how much things have changed! It was so sweet to see Victoria’s 23-year-old child lead the way with a really heartfelt post celebrating her birthday – definitely a modern way to show some love!

Romeo shared a photo of himself with his mom and wrote a sweet birthday message: ‘Happy Birthday, Mom! Love you so much, have a wonderful day @victoriabeckham.’

He also posted a photo of himself with Sir David, watching one of his football games when he was a child.

Victor Beckham recently celebrated his birthday, and while Cruz hasn’t publicly acknowledged it yet, his girlfriend Jackie Apostel shared a birthday message online, writing, ‘Haaaaapy birthday @victoriabeckham’.

Victoria began celebrating her birthday with a dinner at Casadonna in Miami, joined by her daughter Harper.

Victoria was delighted to receive a white birthday cake and shared a warm hug with her mother.

The designer wore a stunning navy dress from her Victoria Beckham line, priced at £990.

She shared that she was in Miami celebrating her birthday with her friends and was excited about a new navy blue jersey dress she’d just gotten.

‘It is just the perfect party dress for a night out with my girlfriends.’

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following the Beckham family, and it’s interesting to see how Victoria recently opened up about the distance between her and her oldest son, Brooklyn, just before her birthday. It seems she wanted to address the situation publicly, which is a brave thing to do, and shows a desire to hopefully mend things.

She insisted that she and husband David have always ‘tried to protect and love our children’.  

In a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal, the Spice Girl discussed her connection with Brooklyn.

Despite previously avoiding mentioning him by name, the 51-year-old mother of four has now publicly addressed their long-running conflict for the first time.

She paused, clearly emotional, and said, ‘We adore our children. We’ve always done our best to be good parents.’

We’ve been in the public spotlight for over 30 years, and our main focus has always been to love and protect our children. That’s really all I want to share about this.

In January, 27-year-old Brooklyn publicly announced he was ending contact with his family. In a strong social media post, he stated he doesn’t want to repair his relationship with his parents, claiming they had controlled him throughout his life.

Victoria was questioned about whether she regrets involving her family – her four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper, plus her parents – in the public eye.

It wasn’t so much guilt, but my parents definitely had to get used to things when the paparazzi started showing up at their house. We’ve really included our families in everything that’s happened with us along the way.

David and Victoria Beckham haven’t communicated with their son Brooklyn since May of last year. This followed Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, choosing not to attend David’s 50th birthday party.

Lawyers for Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz have instructed the Beckhams’ legal team to communicate only through them.

Just before Christmas, Brooklyn cut off contact with his parents on Instagram. Then, in January, he publicly shared a scathing six-page letter on the platform.
