Romeo Beckham traveled to Paris with his girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, for Fashion Week, despite a recent family disagreement with his brother, Brooklyn.
On Monday night, Romeo’s 26-year-old brother, Brooklyn, publicly stated he doesn’t intend to make amends with his family.
He publicly accused his brothers, Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20, of deliberately targeting him on social media, saying they eventually blocked him without explanation last summer.
Despite the recent controversy, model Romeo appears unbothered and has traveled to France with his DJ girlfriend for Paris Fashion Week.
On Thursday morning, Romeo posted a photo on his Instagram Story showing him relaxing in a car with his feet propped up on the seat.
In the photo, Kim sat next to him, and her feet were visible. A stylish designer weekend bag and an outfit laid out in a travel bag were also in the shot.
Kim shared a photo on her social media showing her heading into the artist’s room at the Chanel show, suggesting she would be walking in it.
This follows Romeo’s brother, Cruz, hinting at his disapproval of the ongoing conflict with Brooklyn.
The up-and-coming singer announced that his London concert is sold out, and he did so while sharing a song by the Spice Girls – a move some fans have interpreted as a playful jab at his brother.
Cruz has publicly shown where he stands in the dispute, making a subtle, indirect criticism that appeared to be directed at Brooklyn.
I’ve been following Cruz closely since everything came out, and it’s interesting to see him staying so engaged with fans on Instagram. He’s really pushing his new music and sharing all the details about his upcoming performances, which is great to see!
Cruz expressed his gratitude to his fans for purchasing tickets, excitedly sharing that the shows are selling out so quickly he’ll likely need to add more. He simply wrote, ‘UK. Absolutely no words, thank you a million – looks like I’ll have to be adding more shows!?’
He hasn’t said anything directly about what’s been claimed, but his latest post really spoke volumes. He chose to share it with the Spice Girls’ song ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’ playing in the background – and as a long-time fan, it felt like a pretty clear message to everyone involved. It’s like he’s asking, ‘Really? Who do you think you are?’
This song explores the challenges and dangers of becoming famous, cautioning listeners about losing themselves and getting caught up in the demands of a celebrity lifestyle.
The struggle to rise above hardship is intense, and reaching for success can make you lose touch with your origins. It’s okay to be generous, but only if you also benefit. It seems like your main motivation is simply wanting to achieve, and you’re acting like you’re destined for greatness – like a superstar.
Even though he doesn’t mention Brooklyn directly, the song he chose seems connected to what’s happening with his family right now.
Victoria, his proud mother, age 51, reacted to her son’s sold-out announcement with a simple ‘wow’. She hasn’t publicly commented on his post itself.
Okay, so no one’s officially said anything, but I swear I just saw Romeo Cruz ‘like’ a meme about Victoria asking for that specific song for her first dance with Brooklyn! I’ve been tracking everything, and it’s totally about that song, I just know it. It’s all the confirmation I need, honestly!
Cruz reacted to a funny social media post by comedian @Olly_101 with a surprising move: he liked it. The post joked that Cruz’s mother, a fashion designer, had asked to hear the R&B song ‘Pony’ by Ginuwine.
The song, first released in 1996, became incredibly popular again after Channing Tatum performed a striptease to it in the movie Magic Mike, which was inspired by his experiences with the Chippendales.
Since Brooklyn spoke publicly, Victoria hasn’t been seen. Meanwhile, Victoria’s husband, Sir David, was interrupted and challenged by reporters yesterday while at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
You know, everyone’s been asking me about the drama, and I wasn’t going to address it directly. But it did get me thinking, and I ended up talking about the ups and downs of kids being on social media – it’s a bit ironic, I admit, considering the situation, but it’s something I feel strongly about.
During an appearance on CNBC’s Squawk Box, he explained that he’s been teaching his children about the potential risks of social media, while also highlighting its positive aspects and how it can be used constructively.
He explained that he’s consistently discussed how social media can be both a positive and negative force.
Oh my gosh, did you hear what David Beckham said? It’s just… amazing! He was talking about how lucky he is to have a voice – he called it his ‘platform’ – and how he’s using it, especially with his work for Unicef, to really shine a light on the struggles kids are facing all over the world. It’s just so incredible to see him using his fame for something so important, you know? He’s truly a hero!
He added: ‘I’ve tried to do the same with my children, to educate them.
‘They make mistakes. Children are allowed to make mistakes. That’s how they learn.’
