Rochelle Humes screams 'get the camera off!' at stunned This Morning crew as cooking segment takes disastrous turn - and replacement hosts are announced

As a dedicated follower of This Morning, I’ve seen it all – from heartwarming stories to hilarious blunders, and Rochelle Humes’ recent cooking mishap is no exception. Having watched her grow from her days with The Saturdays, it’s clear that she’s come a long way, yet even the most seasoned celebrities can have their moments of kitchen chaos!

During a mishap with a cooking segment on Wednesday, Rochelle Humes playfully demanded the cameramen to move their lens away from her, jokingly shouting out to the producers.

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but share the tale of my beloved idol, the ex-Saturdays singer, now 35 years old, who found herself in quite the pickle during a live baking segment. Trying her hand at piping meringue on the show, she encountered an unexpected challenge.

She was working together with Dermot O’Leary, while TV chef Damiano Carrara guided them through a session on creating a scrumptious raspberry pavlova, ideal for the summer season.

Dermot enthusiastically declared it as one of his preferred desserts, then both of them eagerly started to pipe it.

“Let’s do this together, I assure you,” Damiano emphasized, “and we’ll follow this pattern, then lower it afterwards,” he clarified, showing us the way.

“Wow, this is quite entertaining for me,” I exclaimed as I picked up things swiftly, only for Rochelle to unexpectedly yelp.

Worried, Dermot inquired, “Everything okay with you, Roch?” To which she replied confidently, “Yes, yes, we’re fine. We’ve got it under control. Our apologies.”

While casting a glance at her fellow host’s masterpiece, nearly flawlessly executed, Rochelle exclaimed, “Wow, Dermot!” To which the TV chef responded, “Yes, Dermot is talented.”

Rochelle acknowledged, “Now I see, it turns out they need to be quite near each other. Let me adjust their positions. Oh my goodness, everyone.”

Appearing a bit annoyed, she directed: ‘Please don’t take this too seriously. It seems I forgot to turn it. There was an awkward mistake with the bag, folks.’

She went on to address the production crew directly and sternly said: ‘Director Barry I can hear you saying look at Rochelle – no. Get the camera off of Rochelle’s. She does not need a close up out here.’

The chef pointed out that her method of carrying the bag had led to her trouble, offering assistance by suggesting, “It seems like you’re gripping it this way. Let me show you.”

The former singer explained, “I believe it’s due to being left-handed,” before wrapping up her sweet treat.

The mishap in the kitchen happens right when Rochelle and Dermot disclose who is stepping in for them to host the breakfast show on Friday.

The pair announced to the audience that today would be their final joint appearance on the summer show, and starting tomorrow, viewers can look forward to seeing Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle instead.

Dermot excitedly announced, “This is our final performance together, Josie and Craig, just tomorrow,” before they shared an embrace.

As someone who has spent years immersed in the world of language and communication, I find it fascinating to observe how small phrases can convey so much meaning, especially when they are used in a friendly and heartfelt manner. In this case, the phrase “Thank you, thanks for a lovely half a week” is a simple yet profound expression of gratitude that speaks volumes about the speaker’s positive experience over the past few days. The response “This has been so nice, a lovely few days” from Rochelle echoes the sentiment perfectly, confirming their shared enjoyment of the time spent together. As someone who values genuine connections and meaningful interactions, I appreciate the warmth and camaraderie that this exchange conveys. It’s moments like these that remind us all of the importance of taking the time to express our gratitude for the people and experiences in our lives.

Fans who love watching Dermot will be thrilled to know that he’ll be returning to screens alongside Alison Hammond starting from early September, specifically on the first Friday of the month.

Rochelle mentioned, “I’ll be taking the children on a short trip, and after that, I’ll return here within a fortnight with Joel Dommett.”

As a loyal fan, I’m preparing myself for a short break from my favorite morning show, This Morning, as the gracious hosts, Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, embark on their well-deserved summer vacation.

The recently added co-hosts, who started on ITV’s daytime program in March and reportedly earn around £555,000 per year, are now enjoying a seven-week vacation.

Over their summer vacation, a group of temporary hosts have been invited to host the program instead of the regular presenters.

Every Monday starting from July 15th, it’s me who eagerly tunes in to catch Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary kick off the summer shows. A delightful rotation of familiar faces will then grace the couch throughout the weeks that follow.

Additionally, joining the hosting lineup are Josie Gibson, Craig Doyle, Rylan Clark, Rochelle Humes, and Joel Dommett. Notably, Sian Welby, who recently became a mother to a baby girl named Ruby, is also returning to the broadcasting scene.

On September 2, ITV’s main daytime program welcomes back Ben and Cat, while Alison and Dermot take over hosting duties for Fridays starting from September 6.
