Rochelle Humes Reveals How She Manages Life With 3 Kids Despite ‘Bad Experience’ With Nanny
Rochelle Humes acknowledges that she would struggle without support at home, even though she had a challenging experience in the past with a childminder.
38-year-old ex-member of The Saturdays, shares three kids named Alaia Mai, Valentina, and Blake with her husband Marvin Humes who is 40 years old.
During a question-and-answer session with her Instagram followers on Monday, someone inquired whether Rochelle receives assistance at home to manage her and Marvin’s schedules when they’re both engrossed in their respective jobs.
As your trusted lifestyle advisor, I’m happy to share some insights from my own experience. In managing my household responsibilities, I’ve found it incredibly beneficial to have two amazing individuals by my side – my mother, Roz Wiseman, and a dear friend named Dita, whom I consider family. Both of them have been invaluable in helping me juggle the demands of parenting and maintaining a home.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I must admit that maintaining my balanced and organized life isn’t solely my own doing. I rely on assistance to keep all the plates spinning smoothly.
It’s clear that the kids attend school for five days each week, with Blake being in preschool. Marvin conveniently broadcasts his radio show from 11-1, which fits perfectly around our school pick-up and drop-off times. We’re fortunate to have Dita, a wonderful woman, assisting us at home.

She functions as a family member, having been with us for numerous years, and my mom provides us with such immense help that we’d be at a loss without her. It’s fortunate beyond words that our nanny happens to be their grandmother in reality.
To ensure that someone is always available, we usually arrange to work different schedules. However, this rule is broken when we’re recording our TV show [The Hit List], at which point the kids stay with my mother.
‘I squeeze as much into school hours as humanly possible and take it week by week.’
Previously, Rochelle expressed her decision not to hire a nanny anymore due to some trust-related challenges she faced earlier.
The host of This Morning expressed that she leans on her mother Roz for assistance in managing family matters, following a challenging incident involving a childminder.
On Made By Mammas: The Podcast, she shared with Zoe Hardman and Georgia Dayton that it felt quite uncomfortable being away from work since the nanny would still be present in their home.
I shared: “In my past as a nanny, I encountered some difficulties related to trust and personal issues. Consequently, those experiences weren’t successful for me.
