Robin Bailey, along with her co-hosts Kip Wightman and Corey Oates, are returning to KIIS FM Brisbane for the breakfast show, after their previous show was cancelled last October.
Australian Radio Network (ARN) surprised everyone on Tuesday by announcing that the popular hosts will be back on KIIS973 Breakfast in 2026, responding to strong requests from their listeners.
The group performed what many believed to be their last show in November, despite reports indicating their final broadcast would be on December 12th, shortly after news of their dismissal became public.
It appears KIIS FM decided to keep the team in their popular time slot because of positive feedback from listeners and recent survey data.
Our main goal is still to provide the programs listeners enjoy, and today’s news shows we’re dedicated to Brisbane audiences, according to a spokesperson.
‘Robin, Kip & Corey are known for their warmth and relatable humour.’

They have a great connection on the air, and they’re also deeply involved in the Brisbane community, actively supporting local charities and sharing stories that connect with listeners throughout the city, as they explained.
Starting in 2026, the show will be even better, featuring new segments, exciting guests, and ways for viewers to participate. These additions are all designed to highlight what makes Brisbane special and keep your mornings lively and entertaining.
Robin, 55, was moved to tears after what she thought would be her last day on the radio. However, she’s now expressed her gratitude to listeners in Brisbane for successfully persuading ARN to continue her show.
‘Brissy you did it! Thank you so much,’ she began.
I’m so happy to be back, and it’s all thanks to you! I’m really grateful to be working with Kip and Corey again on KIIS973.
As a huge fan, I can’t believe this is happening! It’s a total game-changer, and honestly, I’m incredibly excited to see what the Robin, Kip & Corey show brings in 2026. This feels like the start of something amazing.
Co-host Kip echoed Robin’s sentiment, attributing their 2026 return to ‘people power’.
Everyone loves supporting Brisbane! I’m really excited to be back in the studio when the games start in 2026. I’m even jokingly admitting I might have ‘borrowed’ a few things from the office when I left last time!

‘We love starting the day with you Brisbane,’ Corey added.
We appreciate you starting your day with us! We’re already looking forward to 2026 and will be back on the air starting January 19th.
According to Derek Bargwanna, who leads the KIIS Network, listeners in Brisbane made their preferences very clear.
Robin, Kip, and Corey all feel a strong bond with this city, and the way things ended left the possibility of working together again in the future.
‘We’re thrilled to welcome them back to breakfast in 2026.’
Craig ‘Lowie’ Low, originally planned to take over the breakfast show, will instead be hosting a new national night show on ARN, the network has announced.
The 40-year-old writer and film producer will lead Lowie Live, a new show launching in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth in the new year. It will air from 9 PM to midnight.
Lowie expressed his excitement about returning to Brisbane’s popular breakfast radio show and is also thrilled to start connecting with listeners across the country during nighttime programming on the KIIS Network.

Robin, Kip & Corey Oates and Lowie Live will both launch on January 19.
Robin, Kip, and Corey Oates announced in October that their radio show would end by the end of the year.
The announcement that three cast members were let go happened only a few months after Corey, a former star player for the Brisbane Broncos, joined the show following his retirement from professional rugby league last year.
ARN announced that the show would end with a final broadcast on December 12th, but the hosts actually did their last show in November.
The spokesperson commended the hosts for their dedication, innovative ideas, and efforts to entertain the Brisbane audience.
The statement also noted their important contributions and said they will be honored soon.
When Lowie was named as the new host of the popular breakfast show, many people were surprised and skeptical.
People familiar with the situation criticized the appointment, with one source telling the Courier Mail the new hire was an inferior version of Kyle Sandilands.
The source expressed strong disappointment and disgust that the team would be replaced by that person, saying it made them feel ill.
