The first look at the upcoming movie starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson starts sweetly, showing their characters, Emma and Charlie, happily in love and getting ready for their wedding. Emma works at a publishing company, and Charlie is the director of a museum in Britain.
Emma and Charlie playfully navigate wedding planning, struggling to write their vows and even learn how to dance. Emma sweetly admits Charlie is her first crush and first love – it’s a truly adorable moment!
The trailer shifts to a darker tone when the couple meets friends for dinner – actors Mamoudou Athie and Alana Haim. They start playing a game where everyone shares their “worst deed.” While we don’t hear the full stories, the reactions suggest the confessions are more amusing than truly awful.

Kristoffer Borgli, the director of the successful 2024 indie film Dream Scenario starring Nicolas Cage, is known for his surprising plots and dark humor. His next film, The Drama, is highly anticipated and scheduled for release in spring 2026.
The movie features Michael Abbott Jr., Hailey Gates, Sydney Lemmon, and Zoë Winters. Judging by the trailer, director Borgli appears to have created another thought-provoking and uncomfortable look at how we connect with each other – one that’s likely to leave viewers feeling uneasy.
The Drama arrives in UK and US cinemas on 3 April.
