Robert Pattinson and Tom Holland’s flop is now available to watch on Prime Video
In the United Kingdom and Ireland, Robert Pattinson and Tom Holland’s film “The Lost City of Z” has returned for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
According to David Grann’s 2009 non-fiction book, titled the same as this story, it recounts the true adventure of Percy Fawcett, portrayed by Charlie Hunnam, a British explorer. Along with his son Jack (played by Holland), and fellow explorer Henry Costin (Robert Pattinson), Fawcett embarks on a journey deep into the Amazon jungle.
Although it didn’t fare well financially when released in 2017, the film was lauded for its stunning visuals and enigmatic elements by numerous critics.

Back in 2017, this game I played, the movie, didn’t exactly light up the box office, but boy, its breathtaking graphics and mind-bending puzzles left me spellbound. The critics absolutely loved it!
The Lost City of Z is a film that appears to have divided opinions among both critics and viewers, judging by Rotten Tomatoes scores – while it boasts an impressive 86% approval rating from professional reviews (based on 25 assessments), this figure drops significantly to 58% when considering audience ratings.
It appears that James Gray’s movie didn’t capture viewers’ attention as much as hoped, as evidenced by its poor performance at the box office. Released in the spring of 2017, this film was unfortunately considered a flop, earning just $19.3 million compared to a production cost of $30 million.
The Lost City of Z is now available to watch on Prime Video in the UK.
