Robert Irwin promptly extended his heartfelt congratulations to his fellow host, Julia Morris, following her recent Gold Logie nomination on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
Both were nominated for the coveted award in 2024, but Robert missed out this year.

This past Monday, the long-time comedian (who marks four decades on Australian television this year) phoned to express his delight over the news that she had been nominated. He described it as both “fantastic” and “deserving”.
She remarked during the segment that “Robert never overlooks anything,” as she struggled to hide her enthusiasm regarding the recent news.

Julia also shared details about Robert’s emotional phone call.
As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but express that his reaction was something like, “This is surreal… this is phenomenal, and you truly deserve it.” He’s not only generous in the conventional sense, but on numerous dimensions as well. Therefore, getting to partake in this jungle adventure alongside him has been nothing short of incredible.
Elsewhere in the chat, Julia made reference to her roots in Gosford on the Central Coast of NSW.
Julia expressed great pride about Gosford,” she remarked, noting that this was her fourth nomination for the esteemed television award.

Additionally, Ally Langdon, aged 46, from the show A Current Affair, has also been recognized as a nominee for this year’s top TV award. Last year, she was honored with the title of Best News or Public Affairs Presenter.
43-year-old two-time victor Hamish Blake has been nominated once more for the Gold Logie award, a title he last claimed in 2022 due to his work on Lego Masters, as well as in 2012 when he won for Hamish and Andy’s Gap Year.
56-year-old Lisa Millar, who previously hosted ABC News Breakfast, is also a contender for the highest accolade due to her efforts on Backroads and Muster Dogs.
Additionally, Poh Ling Yeow, a well-known contestant from MasterChef Australia at the age of 51, is also being considered. There’s chatter suggesting she might be considering a break from her much-adored culinary program.
Additionally, Dancing With The Stars host Sonia Kruger, aged 59, has once more been nominated for the top award following her win of the Gold Logie in 2023.
On Monday, the nominations for the 65th Television Week Logie Awards were revealed at the Yallamundi Rooms within the Sydney Opera House, showcasing exceptional Australian television talent at its finest.
The voting period for all the awards begins at 9am on Monday, June 16, and continues until 7pm on Friday, August 1.
