Robert Irwin Strips Down and Leaves Sarah Harris Blushing on The Project!
On Sunday evening, I was absolutely starstruck when I had the chance to grace the set of Channel Ten’s The Project, leaving the lovely host Sarah Harris flushed with excitement!
As a guest panelist on the show, the young celebrity conservationist, aged 21, found himself in a friendly competition when Sam Taunton proposed an arm wrestling match.
‘I reckon I could beat you in an arm wrestle,’ Sam said.
‘You reckon. Do you want to put that to the test right here, right now?’ Robert responded.
After taking off his jacket, the host showcased his well-defined arms beneath a snug white t-shirt, causing Sarah to appear noticeably flustered.
‘Let’s go,’ Robert said before winning the challenge.
Overwhelmed with admiration, I couldn’t help but cheer Robert on, all the while thinking, “Boy, I sure hope my significant other didn’t catch that! A 21-year-old just made me eat my words.
Viewers flocked to social media to praise the conservationist on his impressive skills.
‘That’s Steve Irwin’s son, what made you think a mere human stands a chance?’ one person wrote.
‘No son of a crocodile hunter is losing an arm wrestle to a human haha,’ another said.
Another person stated, ‘It was clear he was destined to fail even before the jacket came off,’ and another commented, ‘It’s never wise to confront someone who wrestles with crocodiles.’ (This version maintains the original meaning but rephrases the sentences for clarity and readability.)
Elsewhere in the show, Robert shared his first memory of his late father Steve Irwin.
Each morning, the host shared, Steve – who passed away in 2006 – used to take him and his sister Bindi for a ride on his motorbike, giving them a unique twist on the experience.
Robert said these little trips would be capped off with a visit to the ice cream shop.

On the day following what would have been Steve’s 63rd birthday, February 22, the Wildlife Champion reminisced about a delightful moment, which they chose to share.
During his tribute on The Project, Robert expressed his continual awe at the worldwide response and influence that his father continues to have to this very day.
‘It’s very, very special.’
Asked to share his ‘earliest memory’ Robert was quick to share a sweet story.
My earliest memory of dad is that every morning, regardless if it was raining, hailing, or sunny, he’d take Bindi and me on the front of his motorbike for a fun ride around Australia Zoo before getting us ice cream.
‘I just remember being on the front of the motorbike covered in ice cream just loving life.’
The Crocodile Hunter tragically died in 2006 at the age of 44 after being struck by a stingray.
