Robert Irwin reveals what he really thinks of the Aussie mums reacting to his racy Bonds shoot after he stripped off for the campaign

Earlier this year, Robert Irwin ignited excitement as he appeared in an energetic underwear advertisement by Bonds, which gained widespread attention online.

And now, the 21-year-old conservationist has reacted to Aussie mums checking out his sultry shoot.

He shared during a recent interview on the Today Show that although it was both unique and quite unnerving, having wild animals present actually helped calm him down.

Robert shared that his goal is to foster conservation, and he finds pleasure in educating others through diverse methods.

‘His actions demonstrated the casual, unfazed demeanor that Australians are known for, even when they’re just in their underwear, much like a calm and collected cucumber,’ he noted.

He then joked the shoot was ‘scarier than handling any crocodile.’

There was an outpouring of excitement on the internet when pictures emerged of Robert showing off his muscular physique in Bond underwear, snuggling with various Australian wildlife like a koala and a snake.

Recently, Robert firmly asserted that the photoshoot had nothing to do with vanity; rather, all his actions are rooted in a single, driving force: his unwavering devotion to conservation.

He shared with US Weekly that he believed participating in activities like modeling underwear for Bonds or dancing on Dancing With the Stars could help attract a fresh audience to hear his conservation messages.

He’s consistently following through with this approach, as only recently he declared his participation in the American adaptation of Dancing with the Stars. Once more, he showcased his muscular physique, this time holding a snake during the promotional shoot.

‘That’s how I feel comfortable. That’s who I am,’ he said.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I’m deeply invested in this journey, with an undeniable drive and enthusiasm that fuels me every step of the way. And let me tell you, realizing my goals is not just a dream, it’s a fulfilling reality.

I am genuinely grateful to have a fresh group of people to connect with, and I aim to share some optimism among them. Let’s strive for a life lived vibrantly at its fullest potential!

Robert also recently denied the photos from the Bonds campaign had been digitally altered.

Robert swiftly debunked the notion of digital trickery, confirming that all the content seen in the pictures was entirely authentic.

During a past conversation with Karl Stefanovic on the Today show, Robert affirmed that everything was completely genuine.

‘Every visual element you’re observing is present. There, just as you see it, is the spider, while the striking large black-headed python is also fully in view.’

Robert added, “That’s not photoshopped – it’s pure hard work, with minimal carbs to show off those defined abs.
