The nature conservationist participated in The Earthshot Prize event held in South Africa last year, expressing fervor during his speech about the program’s ability to ignite worldwide efforts for change.

As an environmentally passionate soul, I can’t help but feel inspired by the radiant promise of the Earthshot Prize. It’s a guiding light for those like me, concerned about the health of our planet and the prospect of a sustainable existence for not just us, but generations to come.

A thriving planet depends on vibrant oceans, balanced ecosystems, and flourishing wildlife. The Earthshot Prize acknowledges the significance of fostering and nurturing solutions that safeguard these crucial natural assets.

Initiated by Prince William in 2020, The Earthshot Prize seeks to highlight and back creative answers addressing the planet’s most urgent ecological issues.

On the second day of his trip to South Africa for the initiative, Prince William took a stroll accompanied by Robert.

William made his way up the rugged slope of Signal Hill, and upon spotting the gathered media below, he joked, “I’ll do my best to avoid making a spectacle of myself for everyone.

Later on, Robert posted a video showing him alongside William, where he inquired about the prince’s preferred African wildlife.

In response, William said, “That’s a challenging query. I believe my answer will be the cheetah. It’s simply amazing,” and Robert shared that his preferred one is the chameleon.

Additionally, the prince engaged in conversations with park wardens, firefighters, mountain rescuers, ecological diversity specialists, and young volunteers against a picturesque setting.

They shared information with him on the wide variety of wildlife and plant life, as well as their efforts to conserve the environment without compromising the enjoyment of local residents and visitors in the region.
