Robbie Williams unveils his new teeth as he admits he ‘absolutely abused’ his old ones for years with cocaine as well as using them to open bottles
As a dedicated fan who has followed Robbie Williams’ journey through his highs and lows, it’s heartening to see him taking care of himself now, especially when it comes to something as personal as his dental health. After three decades of abusing his teeth, it’s time for them to get the attention they deserve. I must admit, I was fond of the old ones, but Robbie has always had a knack for reinventing himself and his new smile is no exception.
Robbie Williams has shared that he’s receiving replacement teeth, as he’s worn out the previous ones over a period of thirty years. He’s also expressed his fondness for his new temporary pair.
On a typical Friday, the 50-year-old vocal artist showcased his freshly improved teeth on his primary Instagram feed, having recently visited the dentist.
In his open and honest post, he confessed that he had initially gone in for a consultation, but surprisingly left with a fresh, temporary full set of dentures instead.
He told fans the new teeth will remain until the individual ones are placed in a months time.
Delighted by the result, the ex-Take That member enthusiastically expressed his affection for their new appearance, even though he was taken aback by how swiftly the transformation occurred.
Robbie made a light-hearted comment about his previous teeth, saying, “Perhaps some of you found them charming. They were quite quaint.”
Initially, they were reliable and useful, but I ended up misusing them extensively. I used them to open bottles, stained them with espresso, rubbed Coke onto them, neglected proper cleaning, and clenched them tightly for three decades without proper maintenance.
Looking back, we’ve shared so many moments, good and bad. Now, it’s time for us to part ways. Farewell, my cherished tiny banana-yellow companions.
Supporters of Robbie promptly flocked to the comment area to praise the star’s latest dental upgrade, writing enthusiastic messages such as:
“Wow, the temperatures are stunning, Rob! By the way, I’m a dental nurse here in Australia. If you appreciate the temporary teeth, wait till you see the permanents – they’re truly awe-inspiring!”
‘Congrats on your new smile Robbie!! Looking great!!!’
‘The new chompers look great!’
‘The white suits you well.’
‘You look so happy with your new big smile. Love it!
‘ Looking great Rob!!!’
‘I was fond of the old ones…but you look fantastic.’
Last year, in his Netflix documentary, Robbie opened up about how, following his nightly consumption of vodka, his life took a drastic turn for the worse and became increasingly chaotic, even during Take That rehearsals.
In 1995, Robbie, a former member of a highly successful band, looked back on his struggles with substance abuse – drugs and alcohol – and its impact on his personal life.
Robbie stated: ‘I was consuming as much as I could find – ecstasy, cocaine, alcohol. Every evening before rehearsals, I would drink nearly a whole bottle of vodka. This habit occurred every single night.’
Discussing his struggle with substance abuse, Robbie stated: ‘He’s a person plummeting downwards, hooked on cocaine and alcohol. I can’t save myself, I can’t quit.’
It seems unlikely that you will experience anything but being hungover, followed by no longer being hungover, as you continue to set yourself up for another round of feeling hungover tomorrow.
It was clear to everyone that I was facing serious difficulties, yet no one seemed to mind. At this stage, I was beyond help, having reached a point from which there was no turning back. My life had plunged into chaos, spiraling so wildly out of control that my manager realized drastic action was necessary. Consequently, he recognized that I needed immediate intervention and arranged for me to be admitted to rehab.
Initially, I turned to alcohol and substance abuse as a means of escaping my feelings. Once I stopped, all the buried emotions from years past resurfaced, leading to profound depression and mental illness.
