Robbie Williams cosies up to wife Ayda Field on the BRIT Awards red carpet ahead of his tribute performance to Ozzy Osbourne to close the ceremony

Robbie Williams and Ayda Field turned heads on the red carpet at the BRIT Awards in Manchester on Saturday, both looking fantastic.

The 52-year-old singer made a statement arriving in a striking, all-over patterned suit. He’ll be finishing the show with a special performance honoring Ozzy Osbourne.

The outfit had a black background with white splatters, and Robbie finished the look with black shoes.

Ayda Field, 46, who used to be a judge on The X Factor, chose a classic outfit: a sleek black blazer and trousers.

Married since 2010, the couple shared a sweet moment on the red carpet with Robbie kissing his wife on the cheek.

Ozzy Osbourne will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award at this year’s event. The former Black Sabbath singer, who sadly passed away in July of last year, will be recognized for his unique and lasting influence on music around the globe.

Sharon Osbourne, a longtime friend of the family, personally invited Robbie to participate in the tribute, recognizing his enduring support for Ozzy’s music.

As a huge fan, I’m so excited to share that Sharon personally put together a really special version of “No More Tears” – the iconic song from Ozzy’s massively popular 1991 album of the same name. It’s going to be amazing!

Oh my gosh, you guys, this segment is going to be HUGE! They’ve got an absolutely incredible lineup of musicians – seriously, the best! It’s all the people who’ve played with Ozzy over the years, both British and international legends. I’m practically shaking with excitement just thinking about it!

Robbie will share the stage with Zakk Wylde, Ozzy Osbourne’s guitarist, along with Adam Wakeman, Robert Trujillo, and Tommy Clufetos.

Robbie posed on the red carpet with Sharon and her daughter Kelly on the red carpet.

Ozzy Osbourne died at his home in Buckinghamshire on July 22nd at the age of 76, following a heart attack and cardiac arrest that occurred outside of a hospital.

This happened only three weeks after his final performance with Black Sabbath at Villa Park in Birmingham.

He was buried on the grounds of his Buckinghamshire estate in a private ceremony with his family and many famous musicians.

Sharon, his wife, and their children were joined by celebrities like Marilyn Manson and Zakk Wylde, Ozzy Osbourne’s guitarist, at a gathering held on the family’s 250-acre property near Gerrards Cross.

Just three weeks before he passed away, he played a concert with his original Black Sabbath bandmates – a reunion that hadn’t happened since 2005.

Over 42,000 fans attended the Back To The Beginning show. At the end of the night, he expressed his gratitude to the crowd, saying, ‘I can’t even begin to explain how much this means to me – thank you from the bottom of my heart.’

Sony Music UK will be in charge of the BRIT Awards for the next three years, starting with the 2026 ceremony, and they were the driving force behind moving the event to Manchester.

Jason Iley, CEO of Sony Music UK & Ireland, stated that The BRIT Awards are entering a very exciting period.

Relocating the show to Manchester, a city famous for its influential musicians, will energize the event and continue the BRITs’ tradition of supporting and investing in great music.

Manchester’s lively and historic culture makes it the ideal city to host the BRIT Awards. I’m really excited to experience the show at the fantastic new Co-op Live arena.

Andy Burnham, the Mayor of Greater Manchester, said that bringing The BRIT Awards outside of London is a huge win for the region. He celebrated the fact that after 48 years, this famous international event will be held in Greater Manchester, which he described as the UK’s center for music and culture.
