As a dedicated follower of entertainment news, I have to say that it’s heartbreaking to see the strained relationship between Rob Schneider and his daughter Elle King. Growing up in the spotlight can’t be easy, and it seems like Elle had a particularly tough time with her dad.
A recent photograph of Rob Schneider has surfaced, following Elle King’s disclosure about the challenging dynamics within their family, which she described as ‘toxic’. Specifically, she mentioned an instance where he enrolled her in a ‘weight loss camp’.
Despite the uproar about King’s remarks, it appeared that the ex-SNL star, Schneier, was oblivious as he was spotted shopping in LA and savoring a pricey smoothie from Erewhon.
In a public response, the 35-year-old monarch reprimanded Schneider, who is 60 years old, for his questionable remarks concerning the LGBTQ+ community, labeling them as ‘not kind’ following her interview on Bunnie XO’s Dumb Blonde podcast.
Schneider has yet to respond to various claims made by his daughter, whom he shares with former model London King.
Her mother divorced Schneider 1989 just a year after she was born.
The singer expressed disagreement with many of Schneider’s statements, saying in a clip from the episode: “Your opinions on various topics are misguided, and you’ve been spreading harmful views about drag and LGBTQ+ rights. It’s disappointing, to say the least.”
King mentioned that she typically abstains from conversation with the comedian for periods ranging from four to five years, and also disclosed that she prefers not to have any connection with him whatsoever.
She said, “He’s simply not kind,” and continued, “It’s natural to wish for someone to alter so deeply. However, remember that we can’t dictate others’ actions or their emotions. The only aspects we truly have control over are our responses and the way we manage our feelings.”
Elle grew up in Ohio under the care of her mother and her stepfather, Justin Tesa. As she grew older, she renewed her connection with Rob, who had previously had a difficult relationship with her during her childhood.
As a young admirer of Rob, I found myself spending precious times with him mostly on bustling film sets. In those whirlwind moments, I was often overshadowed by the pandemonium.
She said, “I’d blend inconspicuously in the crowd,” or more informally, “I’d be lost among many.” To clarify further, she added, “If I made a mistake during a shot, if I spoke out of turn, I’d face serious consequences.”
Later, he reminisced, “Every one of my birthdays was overlooked by my father. On my eighteenth birthday, I was in summer school, and they surprised me with cupcakes. I returned home, but my father had forgotten yet again.”
The primary source of disagreement between King and Schneider revolved around her physical attributes, specifically her body weight and tattoo designs.

‘Very toxic and very silly,’ she added.
As a lifelong advocate for individuality and self-expression, I find myself reflecting on my own experiences with tattoos and my father’s conservative views. Growing up, my dad was very anti-tattoos, viewing them as a form of rebellion or lack of respect for societal norms. This led to many heated discussions and disagreements between us, especially when I made the decision to get tattooed at the age of 18.
As a devoted follower, I shared in King’s emotional journey when she disclosed in the revised video that she had tirelessly pursued numerous strategies to mend her bond with her father.
